The Hangout Cafe which is in the top car park on top of the hill. Turn left before the laybay before you dip down the hill toward the beach and there is a fab container cafe at the end of the car park. Selling delicious brunch items and coffee with incredible views. I recommend here when the sun is shining so you can eat brunch on the bench and overlook the incredible watergate bay.

North Fistral Complex has a good selection of restaurants and South Fistral has a lovely cafe called Sea Spray. Head to Little Fistral or Pentire headland for a wilder, coastal path cliff top view

Another beautiful beach only 5 minutes walk from the house. Sheltered from storms and the waves will always be smaller here than Fistral, perfect for people learning to surf. Again surrounded in lovely food places. Try Sprout health food shop for a beautiful cafe garden and healthy food. Or the many delicious restaurants that are at the Harbour.

My personal favourite beach. Miles of beautiful sand beach with incredible views of Newquay. 10 minutes drive away. Cafes and restaurants selling great food and can be quieter for surfing here. Arrive to car park early as they get full quick in the summer!
