The house is less than 10 minutes from Madeira Beach. It is one of the only beaches in the area that you can have alcohol on (if you're into that sort of thing) we have tons of beach chairs and towels, an umbrella and coolers, everything you need! We recommend parking at or near the snack shack. The snack shack has food, beverages, ice cream, souvenirs, etc.

All the touristy things! A big long boardwalk with lots of shops, restaurants, plenty of ice cream and the best little salt water taffy shop! This is also where the John's Pass Pirate Ship goes out of!

You can also buy a parking pass for the metered parking from them. I would recommend doing this - it's cheaper than paying the actual metered rate. Right on the other side of shell key shuttle is Pass-a-grille beach which is one of our favorites because there are some shops and restaurants there - again, ice cream :) It is a nice beach area and they have chair and umbrella rentals there. Between Shell Key and Pass-A-Grille you could spend a whole day down there!

If you don't go there to get a sandwich for Fort de Soto I would highly recommend going there at some point!)

Downtown
Recommend parking in the SunDial Parking Garage - it's $1 per hour and really easy to walk everywhere from there!

Tuesday night is our kids FAVORITE! It is kids night so kids eat for 99 cents and they have a guy that walks around and makes balloon animals (and balloon toys). He is seriously the most talented balloon artist I have ever seen and he is incredibly hilarious! We are always rolling laughing!
