Hvar is a famous island with lots of beaches. I would recommend visiting city Hvar. It is around 1h ride with catamaran from Split. It is most known for parties at night and beautiful Riva and Fortica Hvar with incredible panoramic view. You can find there famous rocky beach Pokonji dol. You can take a taxi ride from there to Pakleni otoci which is a group of little islands where you can find beautiful beaches with less people than on the beaches in the city.

You can get to Trogir by public bus number 2 i 37 or with the Bura Line boat ride(I would recommend the boat ride)

Uber is the fastest transportation in town.
Uber is a very popular way to get around the town. It is cheap and fast. Also, there are public buses. Bus stops are very close to the apartment, the nearest is only 4 minutes away. At that bus station, there is a bus number 18 that runs towards the Old town. Price of bus ticket is 12 kuna(1,6eur) one-way. You can downland new app for public busses to buy tickets and see routes for specific number- Promet Split

Public parking in Split
Public parking in center of Split is not free during work days. On work days, some places dont charge after 19pm and some after 21pm. There are 4 zones of parking in Split. Every zone has different prices depending on distance from the city center. Public parking is free on Sunday. On Saturday, you only need to pay for parking from 8am to 2pm. After 2pm, it is completely free.
