Hiking trails, beach - everything inside the wonderful Seaside Nature park. For example: the estuary of Gauja river is a magnificent place. Newly made promenade leads from Carnikava town all through the seaside park to beach. Another beautiful trail (boardwalk) is in Garciems village - also leading to the beach. What else? How about the longest pedestrian bridge in Latvia? It's in Carnikava - across Gauja river. Ask for more information to me - I will be happy to provide You with it.

Newly made promenade leads from Carnikava town all through the seaside park to beach. Another beautiful trail (boardwalk) is in Garciems village - also leading to the beach. What else? Sigulda's bobsleigh-skeleton track is an interesting spot to visit. Good view to Gauja valley. One can go down the track in special bobsleigh carriage (in summer) or in bobsleigh or vuchko in winter. Or - try the showelrace! Uh!

The Gauja National Park, established in 1973, was Latvia’s first national park. The main “artery” of the park is the ancient Gauja River valley, which was left behind when Ice Age glaciers receded. The valley is 95 kilometres long, with massive sandstone cliffs from the Devonian period. The deepest part of the river valley is at Sigulda, where it is 85 metres deep. Amazing place for relaxing canoeing and kayaking. Camping "Leiputrija" offers boat trips from Gauja National park with finish exactly in the camping. DISTANCE FROM THE GUESTHOUSE: Murjāņi (17-25 km), Sigulda (32-48 km), Ligatne (50-65 km), Cesis (80-90 km).
