Some of my favourite cafes or restaurants that I think stand out.
This cafe is personally one of my favourites on Nørrebro. It’s very Nørrebro-trendy and in the warmer months it is packed with young people both inside and outside. The cafe is less than a 5minutes walk from the apartment.

This is a hidden pearl in Copenhagen just near Christianshavn metro station. It’s a historical building turned restaurant, where you sit almost out on the lake. Just beautiful and cosy. The food is all traditional danish food with many options to choose from. Also great place if you just wanna grab a beer. Definitely one of my personal favourites.

I really enjoy this cafe looking over the lakes on Østerbro, not far from the apartment on Nørrebro. Heating lamps and blankets make it possible to sit outside most of the year, perfect if you wanna grab a beer or coffee in a cosy atmosphere.

This restaurant by the lakes on Østerbro is great if you want old school traditional danish food. Also great for applepie and a beer.

This is a really nice restaurant with interesting nordic-inspired set menus. It’s in the pricy end and you need to book a table in advance, but I definitely recommend it.

Pubs
Bodegas(pubs) are very popular in Copenhagen, especially on Nørrebro. It’s where most people will meet for a beer on Nørrebro and they’re usually packed on the weekends. These are some of my personal favourites near the apartment
If you want to go to a typical Nørrebro pub, Cafe Lille Peter is my personal favourite. You’ll find a lot of these pubs/Bodegas around Nørrebro, they’re very popular and usually packed in the weekends. In many of them you are allowed to smoke inside, this also goes for Lille Peter. If you prefer one that’s smoke-free, you can check out ‘Stefanshus’ on Stefansgade, which is nice as well.

If you prefer one that’s smoke-free, you can check out ‘Stefanshus’ on Stefansgade, which is nice as well.

This pub is smoke-free inside, so it’s perfect if you want to try the Nørrebro bodega-atmosphere without the smoke. In the warmer months it’s completely packed and full of live outside as well.

Sightseeing
Different things to do or see in the area, that I personally really enjoy.
Right next to the apartment you’ll find the Red and the Black square. It’s quite interesting to walk around and discover the different things on the squares. Everything you see on the squares are gifts from around the world. For instance the characteristic swing-benches on the red square is a gift from Iraq. Definitely worth checking out on Nørrebro.

In the warm months you’ll find the market ‘Under buen’(outside) and in the cold months you can sometimes find it in Nørrebrohallen(Just next to the apartment). I definitely recommend checking it out.
