Bruton has a train station, 10 minutes walk from the house. Everything in Bruton is walking distance from the house. Bruton Bike Hire rent mountain and e-bikes, they also do day trips - book before you visit brutonbikehire.co.uk There will be a local OS map in the house for you to borrow during your stay.

The Alhampton in Ditcheat, 5 min drive - 01749 860747. Best pub near Bruton. The Talbot Inn in Mells, 15 min drive - 01373 812254. Good food, pretty village with a walled garden.
