Forget the queue and cut it to get inside. Find a table (it's quite big in there!). Get seated and have 2 "Pastéis de Belém" for each person! Try one with cinnamon and one without and in the end get 2 more for me please! Note: these are not traditional "pastéis de nata", because their old recipe has "a twist" on them.

Only 10 a minutes' walk from my Alfama apartments (Alfama Tejo penthouse studio and Alfama Tejo charming apartment). Can't miss this museum and, by the way, get a combination ticket to visit the Commerce Square's triumphal arch called "Arco da Rua Augusta"!
