Sightseeing in Sequim, WA
Drive past the campground (following the road to the end) and park at the Dungeness wildlife refuge parking area. Take a short hike from the visitors plaza on a wide trail down to the beach and enjoy the waves while taking in the surrounding wildlife! You do have to pay a $3 fee to walk to the beach but it is more than worth it!!

SPOT TO WALK!~This is a great place to take a walk or a run. You can park at the schoolhouse just down Towne Rd and then walk along the dike trail that takes you along the Dungeness River for 2 miles in length.

Driving out to Lake Crescent will take almost an hour but is worth the drive! I highly recommend parking at the Marymere Falls trailhead near the boat launch and taking the hike to the falls if you need something pretty but nice and easy. If you are up for something more strenuous, I would take the hike up Storm King. The views at the top are beautiful! The water at Lake Crescent is truly magical. Even in the winter months, this place still holds much beauty and is worth exploring!
