It's a bit of a drive (39.86 mi, 58 minutes), but worth the romantic ambiance and fun atmosphere that only Schnebly's has to offer. From wine tastings, beer tasting and dinning options, let lost "like the locals do". This is one stop you won't regret making.

History and elegance are two words that I use to describe this spectacular location. You will be transported back in time the moment you set eyes on the building and wish to sit with a nice book and cup of coffee (bring book and purchase coffee at shop) you won't regret it. The sweeping gardens, bay views and opulent home, give you the experience of what early 20th century Miami was really like.

Located on the posh Ocean Drive, the former Versace Mansion, now known as the Villa Casa Casuarina, is filled with history. Once the home of world-famous fashion designers Gianni and Donatella, it hosted some of the world's biggest celebrities in the '90s, including Madonna, who was said to have a dedicated suite. Currently operating as a luxury hotel, the Casa Casuarina boasts 10 suites, a restaurant and bar, a lavish Mediterranean-style garden, and a 54-foot-long pool made from 24-karat gold mosaic tiles. 1116 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139-4609, USA

A MUST SEE for anyone who loves the many ways art can be expressed. The urban, eclectic atmosphere, will make every moment while there be memorable. Wynwood offers a plethora of unique street murals, art galleries, retail stores, posh studios, coffee shops, dessert shops and an open-air street-art installation the world can admire. Have your phone or camera ready as there are MANY “Instagram-able” opportunities at every corner. Only a 15 minute drive away. This entire area is a neighborhood and can be accessed by walking freely (wear comfortable shoes) or you may be interested in having a tour guide. My favorite things to do when in a new city is ask the locals (bar tenders, waitresses, Uber drivers and always Google, their local favorite places. There is no “wrong” way of doing anything. Just follow what feels right and have fun!)

Kayaking is fun in its self. Now add the expansive natural ecosystem that Marjory Stonemason Douglas coined "the river of grass". Or choose to walk, ride bike or ride an airboat. Either of these set you up to find out why Florida is more than its beaches. Miami Zoo is the perfect place to take a stroll and get lost in places where the animals roam freely (kinda) and you have so much to do and see that 4hrs isn't enough time to dedicate to it. Trust me, if you long for a wild experience, Zoo Miami is where you'll find it! (PS. The Amazon experience is my favorite section of the Zoo. Check it out and let us know what you think!)
The pool was created in 1923 from a coral rock quarry, where much of the original coral rock was used to border and further accentuate the pool. It also features two large historic lookout towers, with a view to the City Beautiful. ADMISSION POLICY Children must be a minimum of 3 years of age and 38 inches tall to enter the facility. Verification of age must be presented at the time of entry. No rainchecks or refunds. No re-entry without a receipt. No coolers, alcohol or glass. No outside deliveries permitted. No smoking on property. Sale of admission tickets will cease for the day once the pool has reached maximum capacity. Re-entry will be prohibited. Restrictive clothing is prohibited inside the water. With exception for service animals, animals are not permitted in the facility. The pool is one of the main tourist attractions for those visiting the City of Coral Gables. The pool itself is large enough that the crowds don’t bother you and there is still plenty of room to splash around with the family. Get there early and relax in the beauty that is 1920’s architecture. (Ps. You’ll want to take a book, water phone case and leave your watch behind. There are beautiful photo opportunities under its waterfalls and palm tree filled sky). Venetian Pool 2701 de Soto Boulevard, Coral Gables, FL 33134

First, the Fla. Keys are comprised of 5 groups of islands. The first one (closest to the main land) is Key Largo. Then you'll see Islamorada, Marathon (my favorite for the beaches), The Lower Keys and Key West (the southern most point of the USA). Each one has many amazing things worth the time to visit. If you are interested in visiting Key West, I recommend you go there first. It is a 4hr drive south (worth it. We do this drive every 2 months or so because it is relaxing and worth the tropical feeling). There are a few must haves while there.... 1. Visit Ernest Hemingway’s House 2. The southernmost buoy is the second such landmark in Key West (taking a picture with it is a must do) 3. The Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory 4. Walk down Duval Street and see the street vendors of Mallory Square (you can see an amazing sunset from here) Next- Located between Marathon and Key West (if driving, you'll pass right through it), Big Pine Key is home to Key deer and the National Key Deer Refuge. (You will see these deer walking around along the streets also.) Also on Big Pine Key is Blue Water Hole. This freshwater pond is located in a former quarry that attracts turtles and alligators. Address: 179 Key Deer Blvd., Big Pine Key, Florida -Marathon - is where you'll find the starting point of the Old Seven Mile Bridge. Dolphin Research Center -Islamorada- Robbie’s Marina Nestled at Mile Marker 77, this marina is well-known for its tarpon feeding experiences. Rain Barrel Village is the place to go for some shopping and unique souvenirs. -Key Largo- . Explore John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park (bring your swimsuits and goggles. This park has the most beautiful snorkeling you can do from the beach shore).

Beaches

Let's talk about BEACHES! Want party atmosphere from sun up till sun down? This is the beach for you. Stroll up and down Collins avenue and see various famous sites seen in all of yesterday's, today's and tomorrow's films (and television). There is so much to see, eat and drink that I can't possibly recommend just one place. Try a little of them all. When you want to hit the sand, it is as simple as crossing the street. Take your phone or camera fully charged, to have all the Collins Avenue, Española Way, Lincoln Rd pictures, you could possibly think of. Public parking garages are conveniently found on: 1301 Collins Ave (open 24hrs), Miami Beach Parking Garage 512 12th street Miami Beach 33139 or off street parking (with pay-by-phone). (Ps. You wouldn’t want to carry big, bulky, beach items to this beach. It is recommended you carry a beach bag with essentials so you may freely roam the various boutiques, shops, restaurants, bars, and clubs.)

Want a more tranquil beach experience? Key Biscayne is the one to lay your towel on. (My favorite :0) The relaxing atmosphere, landscape, walking trails, bike trails and restaurant, are worth dedicating an entire day too.
