Clothing optional. Vancouver's only nude beach near UBC has been around forever but has definitely been improved upon in recent years with the wood stairs as well as some impressive beach-level pit toilet buildings.
Keep in mind that there are lots of stairs from the trail entrance to the beach and they will definately give you a workout on the way back out.

Plenty of trails to choose from for various activities; nature walks, dog walking, cycling and hiking. If you like more technical hikes, this wouldn't be for you. Low elevation and gravel trails. It is nice and convenient for it being in a bustling city.

This restaurant in downtown Vancouver is a great choice for brunch. The atmosphere was lovely, the service and the taste were good, but I think the portions were a little small. Advance reservations are recommended.

I've been to this restaurant many times. Authentic Taiwanese beef noodles. Braised meat was flavourful and tender. Thick noodles had good Q texture.
Even after inflation, you could still get a bowl of noodles for under $15. The other small dishes are worth a try.
