Food Scene
Come and enjoy the wonderful Lake Mahopac! With local boat hire, tennis and basketball courts, lots of hiking in the area, a local farmer market and the opportunity to explore the Empire bike trail you'll find plenty to keep you entertained.
There are plenty of great options for dining in Mahopac. The Carriage House is quant with good food and with a welcoming atmosphere. The Lake House is very close to the property, has great views of the sunset over the lake, fresh fish and great for romantic date nights. Savor is a great Italian choice with fresh pizza & happy hour specials.
There is a great authentic little Japanese place called Yami-Ichi which is one of my personal favourites as is Holy Smoke for tasty BBQ. There are many Mexican restaurants in the area or if you are in the mood for steak, head to the Char Steak House, located just a short drive away.
Or why not try the excellent and charming Freight House for brunch or the famous pancakes at the Countryside Kitchen?
There are also several large supermarkets, Polish deli's & a large pharmacy in the town.
