Amazing! Sama is one of the newest additions to the Luquillo food scene. We go in special occasions to indulge ourselves in exquisite fresh coastal food. This has become our favorite restaurant in Luquillo. Sama is located in front of La Pared beach inside Luquillo Sunrise Beach Inn.

We loved the codfish in coconut broth served with fried rice and shiitake mushrooms. The restaurant is in Santurce, San Juan. You can combine the experience with vegan ice cream from Via Láctea scoop shop located a couple of blocks away. Via Láctea is a 2024 James Awards Nominee for Outstanding Bakery.

Flamenco beach in Culebra island is one of the top beaches in the world due to its white sand and turquoise waters. The beach is ideal for snorkeling, swimming, unwinding, playing in the sand, or simply sunbathing. You can go in a private catamaran sailing from Fajardo or if you plan ahead you can reserve tickets to take the Ferry from Ceiba.
If you use the Ferry we recommend renting a car. This will allow you to explore many beaches in the island. For snorkeling we like Playa Melones (right side when you get to end of the road) and Playa Tortuga (you may see turtles). There are many options for scuba diving as well. Enjoy!

The beach is ideal for snorkeling, swimming, unwinding, playing in the sand, or simply sunbathing. You can go in a private catamaran sailing from Fajardo or if you plan ahead you can reserve tickets to take the Ferry from Ceiba.

Each floor at C-NOTE is dedicated to specific purpose: 1st floor Tapas, wine, and cigar store; 2nd floor Jazz Club with live music, Tapas and drinks; 3rd floor Rooftop bar overlooking La Pared Beach. You can visit their website to learn about the upcoming Jazz Club events and buy tickets. Matt and I had a wonderful time listening live jazz at C-Note. The food and cocktails were really good as well.
