If you don't want to cook and would like a pizza, I'd recommend dominos. You can either get the app in the playstore or call 581 - 2345 to order to go. Or just check out the menu at dominos.is .
On tuesdays they have a great offer on medium sized pizzas with 3 toppings. Called "Þriðjudax", it's a cultural thing.

Want a kebab or some stuff like that? Go to flamingos - 4 min walk just across from the Orkan gas station. I'm not fond off it but my wife loves it.

Sightseeing
Want to hike the mountain? It's good activity. You got 2 peaks to pick from. The one on the right and one on the left. They probably have names but I don't know them. I've only hiked the one on the right. Just be careful to not fall down, you will not get up again... Beautiful view of Reykjavik if the sky is clear.
Just drive out of town by Bónus the supermarket. Take the first exit at the round-a-bout and the first exit on your left towards Borgarnes. Drive past the industrial area where they make concrete walls/floors/other building stuff and take a right at Terra - The recycling center. There you get on the gravel road along the river and cross the sheep gate (metallic flooring) and all the way to the root of the mountain. Park your car inside the chained of area but be careful to not park within reach of horses. They tend to damage cars that are close enough to scratch themselves on.
