Cute coffee shop + retail space that has yummy breakfast loaves (think blueberry lemon, cranberry orange, cinnamon coffee cake, seasonal flavors), fun specialty drinks, cute plants and some other stuff you *probably* need. Great hang out spot if you need to knock some work out--several nooks you could spend a productive afternoon with your laptop in.

Sightseeing

NSB Dunes Park, all the way at the end of Peninsula, is dog friendly before 10:00 am. The boardwalk winds along the beach and offers several lookout towers. Watch surfers near the jetty or take your dog to the adjacent dog beach. If you go at dusk or dawn you'll probably hear the bugles at the adjacent Coast Guard Station.

In addition to being a full service restaurant with to-die for fried shrimp and hushpuppies, Norwood's Treehouse (yep--go up the stairs or take the elevator) always has live music (good live music!) and in addition to having a great drink menu, they sometimes offer adult Capri Sun beverages--win/win, right?

Consejos para la ciudad

Cómo moverse

Take Riverside Drive From Edgewater to NSB

US-1 runs parallel to Riverside Drive. If you're staying at our Retro Camp in Edgewater and planning to pop in to NSB, take Riverside Drive. You won't regret the scenic view as you drive alongside the Intracoastal. There are also a few parks and people often walk the sidewalk in the morning and early evenings. If you're looking to stretch your legs, this is within walking distance from our Retro Camp. Butttttt, we recommend you just park at one of the city parks and stroll or jog from there. P.S.--don't speed, the limit is 25 and it's enforced.

NSB Farmer's Market

New Smyrna Beach has two Saturday morning Farmer's Markets--one in the parking lot of Norwood's right off of third avenue and the other (our go to) is near the municipal building right off of Canal Street. Keep an eye out for Bloom Bar and make your own bouquet or flower arrangement.
