As well as being a pleasant place to stroll, you get what - in our opinon - is the best view in the city of the Acropolis. In some ways it gives you a better idea of it's grandeur than you get from actually being in it. It is a public park, so there isn’t an admission fee to walk around and this is off the beaten track.
You'll share the park with Athenians. Great place for sunsets too. If you climb right up to the monument at the top, you'll also get spectacular views of Athens. You can do the whole thing in about 45 min.
