It is easy to visit Edinburgh by bicycle. All along Leith Walk there is a cycle lane and you wont be bothered by cars. From the bottom of Leith Walk you can get a cycle path that takes you through a park along the beach till Musselburgh and over. It is beautiful, I done it :)
