Food Scene
Because we're around San Diego State University, there are a lot of cafes (excluding Starbucks). This one is very comfy. They have the best little baked treats, fresh coffee, teas, espresso and smoothies. With the free Wi-Fi and comfy couches and chairs i can spend hours there catching up on work. Also a chill spot for a nice morning breakfast date. They also serve hookah, which is something I've never seen a cafe do.

Best little Mexican restaurant to me. $1 TJ tacos Tue & Thurs. Me and my girlfriend always have little dates there. Nice comfy hole-in-the wall spot!

I like pizza, but not too much of the New York style which is most popular out here. This pizzeria is Chicago style!!! my favorite is the deep dish stuffed crust pies!

Oceanside restaurant with a great menu. They have shark tacos! They are soo good and juicy too. This restaurant is in Ocean Beach, where there are a number of other laces to visit as well.

San Diego's iconic burger joint! If you like fat, juicy, and a little messy burgers, check it out. Downtown is about 10 mins from my spot. They shakes are bomb too!

I'm not a bar guy, but this bar is pretty live! Good mix of music. I usually go here with a group of friends. They even have a huge patio for that natural breeze when your hot. To be honest there are lots of choices of other bars and clubs once your downtown.

One of the top clubs in San Diego. AD is smaller but, there is always something going on there on the weekends. They've had huge Hip Hop and R&B artists perform there as well. They usually start there cover charge at $10 and goes up depending on who's there and how packed they are.

Being right next to the San Diego Zoo, this attraction is a must if you really want to see something in San Diego. Balboa is mainly outside and free, but there are some inside exhibits, and some costs. For me there's enough free sight to not pay for anything.
