It's another eye-opening area and a must-visit place in late evening. You would see real and alive Cambodian young people having their moment; I guarantee that you would see Cambodia in another perspective that the international news never really display.
Great to have dinner there too. My suggested restaurant there is "Tipsy" (The yellow/black logo: acceptable taste and very affordable seafood). You would can eat lot taste of Cambodian trendy food taste and of course try some beers: Angkor beer, etc.
After or Before the food, walk around the walking trails from Diamond island (Locally called "Koh Pich") to Royal palace along the popular river: Tonle Sap & Tonle Mekong River.
