Just over 5 minutes walk from the train station and within easy reach to all of Durham City, this studio offers guests a flexible space while visiting the area. The studio flat is located on the lower ground floor of our home, accessible via external steps. This private space has it's own entrance/exit, bathroom, kitchenette, lounge space and double bed. Pay and display parking available on North Road for guests travelling by car. Travel cot available for couples travelling with an infant.

Rose Cottage is a 150 year old Grade II listed property, located within the Durham City conservation area. It is ideally situated for guests to enjoy the many attractions of this historic city, including the Unesco World Heritage site of Durham Cathedral and Castle, Durham University Museums and Gardens, riverside walks and an abundance of eateries. The Crescent is a modern semi-detached home with two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, situated in the peaceful village of Witton Gilbert The property is a short distance from Durham of which possesses lovely restaurants and a buzzing night life. The city also displays UNESCO World Heritage Castle and Cathedral and the prestigious Durham University Additionally, the local village dene and nearby walking routes together with the wider countryside and coastline (short drive) boast the beauty of nature

The Annexe is in the grounds of our larger house occupied by us, situated at the end of a private road near to Durham City centre. This house is an ideal base to explore the hidden gem that is the North East of England; discover the Durham Dales and Northumberland, visit the nearby cities of Newcastle/Sunderland, or, even closer 10 mins drive from Beamish Museum. Countryside views from every window, the surrounding grounds and woodlands are peaceful and relaxing.

Only 20 minutes drive will take you to the world heritage site of Durham City and 30 minutes into Newcastle, with the most welcoming of Geordie hospitality. Both cities are noted for their stunning architecture along with superb restaurants and traditional pubs. There are many local attractions for all ages within a good walk or a short drive.

The Oaks

The Oaks is attached to our home. It has its own private entrance from the outside and internal doors are locked. It is an ensuite room set out like a hotel room. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUR FAMILY HOME AND IS NOT SUITED FOR A ROMANTIC/ PASSIONATE NIGHT AWAY BUT FOR GUESTS WANTING A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.. Wooden stairs lead up to this first floor bedroom that has its own decked area with outside furniture to enjoy the fantastic views.
