Linda was very helpful, and quick to respond when I had an unfortunate issue(my fault) that happened. Super thankful for the place to stay.

We could not have stayed in a more perfect home for our stay. The Maetze house is truly a wonder. It is decorated with unique artifacts from Mexico and Panama. We loved the high celiings, the warmth of the original shiplap walls, and that gorgeous walk-in tub. The kitchen had everything we could need. Each bedroom has its own full bath! The view of green jays (yes green jays!) was so entertaining. The dark night sky view of stars was spectacular as we sat around a fire on a cool October evening. However, even this was out-done by a surprise greeting by NINE miniature donkeys as we drank coffee on the back porch! They were friendly and tame and just PRECIOUS! Next time we will rent all three houses because I cannot imagine a better place for a family reunion and nature retreat! And don't forget to eat at the family-owned Watering Hole in near-by Goliad's town square. Or a fascinating walk-through of Goliad's Oak Hill cemetary with its earliest inhabitants going back to just a few years after the Battles of the Alamo and Goliad including members of the Texas Calvary and veterans of the Confederate war. There is an HEB and Walmart less than 30 minutes away in Kenedy. And last but not least, the hostess, Claire, was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive. Thank you, Clare, for a truly MAGICAL stay! We will be back!

Nice walking distance to Main Street of Boerne. Location on dead end street made it very quit, no car or truck noise. Property is just 10 years old, very spacious, quality and spacious. Dedicated parking next to the front door. We would stay here again.

Good furniture, comfortable bed, and a very sweet, beautiful, friendly cat that loves everyone makes a person feel at home in the very peaceful setting you will find yourself in. A very relaxing atmosphere

We loved this gorgeous space to call home for a few days while visiting family in Seguin. We enjoyed peaceful early morning walks in the quiet neighborhood where we admired the trees and various birds that nest along the river. It was quiet and clean. Vicki was a great host and very responsive. A unique home up on stilts so not the best if you have mobility issues. Otherwise, it's a great spot

Wonderful country home, very peaceful and plenty of space for the family. Enjoyed the birds from the porch after work, really felt like home and could almost imagine the history this place has. Highly recommend booking here if you value comfort and warm hospitality.

Carlos was such a wonderful host! We had an extended stay due to flooding in our home. He was very responsive to questions and so easy to work with! I would definitely stay in a home that he hosts again. The house was great. Perfect for what our family needed.

This place was the perfect little getaway to find peace and get a little reset of daily life in the city. It was nice to connect with nature and reconnect with yourself and whomever you go. The yurt had most of your needed amenities (except a microwave) however this is camping so, go prepared. There are a lot of critters roaming around but that's part of the experience. This place is definitely a very nice spot to unwind, peaceful, quiet, private. Highly recommend and appreciate the responsiveness of the host.

The Farmhouse is in a very quiet area. We loved the nostalgia of the place and the peaceful atmosphere. Bartley was spot on as a host. We would definitely stay again!

The place was very beautiful and roomy. We used it for a birthday party and didn’t have any issues with space. Very accommodating and the host was super nice. We didn’t stay the night so I can’t tell you what it was like at night time, but for what we used the house for was perfect.

Everything was great! Location was wonderful, quiet neighborhood and close to everything there is to do in surrounding towns. Highly recommend!

The perfect Hill Country weekend. This place strikes a balance between feeling private & serene, set back into nature, with deer frequently wandering by -- with great walkability to the town square. We enjoyed yummy food and cute shopping around Boerne, and it couldn't have been easier. After parking the car upon arrival, we never had to use it again until we left 3 days later. The space was well-decorated, comfortable and cozy. Our senior dog and 2.5 year old human child felt right at home, too. The sound machines in each bedroom were a great touch.

I stayed at this lovely cottage homestead over the Easter weekend while visiting family nearby, and it couldn't have been a better fit. The cottage was cozy, peaceful, and in a really convenient location. It felt like a home away from home. The host was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, making sure everything was just right for my stay. Their kindness and hospitality made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay.

Wow what a place all in one, couldn’t have asked for a nicer home. The house is just like the pictures and it was super clean just felt like home away from home,Packed with all the essentials. Everything from the check in to asking for extra blankets and towels was smooth and the owners are super nice people, had a great conversation with them lots of recommendations from them about the town. I have never been able to stay at such a beautiful, enchanting accommodation at such a great price point! The entire property is like stepping into a dream and the villa itself is unreal. The pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, and greenery are incredible! Check in and out are easy and their welcome binder makes every villa process easy to figure out. Barbara is such a kind, phenomenal host who I cannot say enough good things about! The property manager is wonderful as well. They are absolutely the heart of this place! It is so clear that this is a labor of love and I am so grateful for having the chance to have spent just over a week here. There is even a book with local recommendations for guests! I highly recommend this villa for any person or group and am already looking at return possibilities to see how soon my best friend and I are able to come back. We had the best trip of our lives!

Highly recommended! I had a wonderful time with my family and friends. We loved the location , the river in-front of the house and the access to do the Kayak. Very peaceful and calm place. Also, communication with Tawnya was excellent.

The place is very tranquil and there's lots to do just staying here. We enjoyed the pickleball court, pool table, pool, hot tub and saying hi to the animals. Kim is a very welcoming host. Highly recommend staying here.
