Photos did not do this place justice. The deck was such a nice surprise with so many small moments & touches tucked away to discover. As for the place itself, pitch perfect for a family and absolutely the most fully stocked kitchen I've ever encountered in an airbnb rental. I had absolutely zero reason to interact with the host because their directions were so clear, helpful, and concise! After experiencing a string of extremely disappointing rentals, this location was a perfect reminder of airbnb at it's best. Will definitely put this on the short list for return visits!

Had a lovely stay at Annette and Fred’s place - the location was great, the house was fully stocked and the hosts were extremely responsive when we had questions. Having a hot tub and gas fireplaces were an added bonus for spending the evenings admiring the views.

Thanks so much it was a lovely stay and we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area.

We stayed here for a girls weekend getaway and it was perfect. The back courtyard is stunning and it’s walkable to some great spots! Plenty of space and super cozy. Belinda was super friendly and responsive to any questions we had. Can’t recommend enough!

We had a great time and loved the house! It’s stylish, well maintained and is in a great location. Some previous reviews mentioned cleanliness issues, however house was well cleaned and had new amenities. We will be back!

I'm tempted to only say horrible lies about this place, because I want to keep this gem all to myself. But I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this place. The location was gorgeous, the interior design was beautiful, and the hot tub in the middle of the redwoods was just the cherry on top.

Denise is a fantastic host. Not only is the place gorgeous and accessible, but the amenities are top notch. She's very responsive and accommodating to any of our requests. We celebrated our one year anniversary here after having a great time last year and this could very well be an annual thing, it's very special to us. Hands down, must stay. Thanks for everything Denise!

My husband and I stayed here with our dog for our anniversary and it absolutely exceeded expectations! Alora was an amazing host, she gave extremely detailed directions and had so much info on the surrounding area inside the house. The house itself was so cute and functional, and the view was even better than the pictures!! The glass deck around the hot tub allowed us to take in the scenery (yes, you can see and hear the ocean from the hot tub!) and it protected us from wind and the wild animals that frequented the surrounding fields. We found that if we were on the deck/in the hot tub by 7pm, we were sure to see deer and a bobcat! The deer are also present each morning! The wildlife was our favorite part and was very consistent until the weekend hit and families with kiddos showed up. Not a complaint at all, everyone was super sweet! But if you are going for the wildlife you may want to consider going during the week because the loudness of children seemed to scare them away.

Thank you for the local recommendations. We tried several restaurants on the list and all were great. The local access to Zils Beach was a highlight so thanks for making sure we knew about it!

Was a great little place near downtown San Jose, just what we needed! Perfect little place for us just visiting for the weekend, had everything we needed, blankets linens, etc. I’ll definitely be staying there again!

I travel often, and while my own home is my favorite place in the world, Laura’s home is one of the few I’ve stayed in that I could live in forever. The primary bedroom—with its breathtaking views—is astounding. The location, lot, and kitchen are all dreamy! I feel incredibly lucky to have experienced such an amazing space. Thank you, Laura, for sharing your wonderful home!

I enjoyed my time at Audrey’s place. They are centrally located and the backyard is a beautiful place to work or unwind. Audrey, Jordie, and the pups were very friendly and hospitable. I would highly recommend their place for any guest visiting Oakland.

Well located and priced studio. Perfect for me and my dog. The fenced yard is incredible for a dog and their own dog, Hurley is super friendly and calm. Tom and Erin were really helpful and easy to be around. They made this an ideal dog friendly location.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The backyard is peaceful and the grounds are really beautifully maintained. Cottage has everything you need, my girlfriend described it as “adorable”. Water pressure in the shower is eh but no issues with hot water. The snacks left were very thoughtful and much appreciated. Would stay here again.

Very much enjoyed our stay. Jared and Morgan were very upfront on what to expect. If/when we return to the area we would definitely look at staying at the Ophir Inn.

Laura’s place was spot on for our short stay. Beach was a stones throw away, which is where the kids wanted to spend their time. The place was perfect, it was clean, spacious, and well equipped. Detailed instructions for the apartment to go alongside the stay and useful local information.

Linda’s place was great. It was clean and comfortable and the location was great. A quick walk into the adorable town of Glen Ellen. The backyard is gorgeous and the spa pool was a fun perk to enjoy.

I almost don't want to tell you how good this place is, so we can rent it again sometime. :-) But it's that good. We visited over spring break with our daughters, eight and 11, and had one of the most amazing stays we've ever had at an Airbnb. The home, the land, the pool, and the local area are all 100% amazing. And the sunsets. You know how you sometimes stay at Airbnb's where you feel like the hosts did the bare minimum to qualify to list it? This is *not* that place. There is everything you need and more. The house was exactly as described and comfy. Plenty of room for 8, and in a quiet neighborhood. We didn’t use the pool but it looked so inviting for summertime! Great place to stay with a group. Thanks!

Brook went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and most enjoyable! From offering the early checkin to allowing us to checkout a bit later, a long with all the helpful hints on restaurants, grocery stores and providing all around comfort, we truly enjoyed our stay. From the teas to the paper plates, to the inflatable ducky in the pool, we could not have asked for more. Brook also provided a plastic chair for the shower as we were traveling with an elderly person-I thought that was very kind and thoughtful. Looking forward to returning one day. Thank you, Brook, for making our stay amazing!

The home was perfect for our friend group of 7 people. We enjoyed the pool greatly during the October heatwave. We enjoyed the kitchen as we made a few meals at the house and it had everything we needed. Jerry was quick to respond if we had any questions at all although there were rarely any questions since he did such a great job checking us in and showing us around. Would definitely recommend for a family or friend trip. And I would absolutely stay again!

Our stay was perfect. The pictures were accurate and the place was as described. It was a surprise for my wife who loves Spanish architecture so she was thrilled. Olga was a great host making sure we had everything we needed. We will most definitely stay there again, especially in the summer.

Wonderful home! Spacious with lots of outside gathering areas. Check in instructions were detailed and helpful. Near many wineries and restaurants. Would stay again!
