This beautiful Oakland Oasis was better than I imagined it would be! This place exceeded my expectations! Coming through the gate the first night, to a path of twinkling lights leading us to our adorable cabin took my breath away! It was the perfect location for peace and quiet right in the middle of Oakland. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time on the property. We flew in from out of state to visit friends and spent a lot of time out and about. I definitely want to come back to spend more time hanging out in the backyard with the goats and chickens. My 13-year-old loved the backyard, the trampoline and the animals. The location was very walkable and within several blocks of many restaurants and shops. We rented a car and street parking was easily accessible. Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park was only an 8 minute drive away and we spent most mornings walking through the mountains enjoying the beautiful trees and views of San Francisco. Highly recommend this listing!

I would give 10 stars if I could! This tiny cute cabin is located in a very beautiful working farm, very quiet, calm and relaxing, and it’s only a 10 minute drive from Los Gatos in the Bay Area. Totally recommend it.

We had an amazing vacation at this wonderfully peaceful cabin. It was beautiful and the cabin was cozy and quiet. A great spot to unwind from the city!

Cozy, quiet little cottage in a great location, very close to College Ave and many shops and restaurants. The patio garden was serene. Had a comfortable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The backyard is peaceful and the grounds are really beautifully maintained. Cottage has everything you need, my girlfriend described it as “adorable”. Water pressure in the shower is eh but no issues with hot water. The snacks left were very thoughtful and much appreciated. Would stay here again.

This place is amazing for a holiday retreat. You wake up to the sound of roosters surrounded by all kinds of farm animals, I loved it! The house itself is very cute and cozy. We loved the handmade sink. The host were extremely caring and helpful explaining all the little details for arrival.

We enjoyed our 2 nights at Tom’s cabin. All instructions were clear and everything listed were accurate. He was very friendly and available for questions too. We will stay there again when we go back to Carmel!

Zoe's place was great - just what I like about Air Bnb. It was in a nice neighborhood, walking distance from a lot of restaurants. Felt like I was in a neighborhood, not a tourist area. The place was also clean and cute.

We originally planned to stay for one month… but ended up falling in love with this place and stayed for three! From February through April, my boyfriend and I (both remote workers) called this our home and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house had everything we needed, and Taylor, the host, was incredible—super responsive and kind. We only ever reached out about a few Amazon packages—zero issues the entire time! Every weekend we were off exploring Yosemite (easy drive), and Bass Lake is just 10 minutes away—we loved going on runs there after work. There’s even a trail right off the backyard that leads to a peaceful creek, which became part of our daily routine. We brought our two dogs and the neighborhood was so dog-friendly—they even made friends with the neighbor’s pups! While the home feels tucked away and serene, grocery stores and restaurants were just 8 minutes away. The photos don’t do it justice—we’re so sad to leave and already dreaming about returning!

This place was amazing, recently moving from another stay we had to rent for 2 weeks while we waited for our things. This place had everything we could have needed. If you have dogs Ela’s place will be perfect for you, the backyard is fenced and my dogs loved it. The location is also great as there are a lot of stores, supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

Very responsive host! Very cute and quaint studio with private outdoor area. Would highly recommend!

Eugenia’s place is in an idyllic location in the Berkeley Hills. It’s a cozy space, beautifully designed with every need anticipated. It’s clean, new and fresh. We’d return in a heartbeat and hope to do so soon.

Not as isolated as I had imagined. Which turned out to be a good thing since my partner had to leave mid trip on an emergency. With the family up front and the neighbor next door, as a single female, I did not feel unsafe or alone in the woods at night. It was a lovely stay with hosts that responded quickly. Only 15 minutes to any of the nearby beaches, but hard to leave behind the serenity of the perfectly flowing (end of April) creek. So relaxing!

It’s on chill Alameda! Everything is a quick drive, even getting to Oakland. Lots of places within walking distance, including & especially the South Shore beach. Gorgeous!

Cozy, remote, peaceful. Beautiful deck along a creek surrounded by redwoods, alder, sycamore, and ferns. Hot tub was clean in good working order and likely serviced recently. We were impressed that the road to the cabin was lined with poison oak, but there wasn’t any within at least 10 feet of anywhere you might walk and barely any in the immediate surroundings. (I suspect the work of some well trained goats) I enjoyed using the Traeger grill. (my 1st time) The bed was comfortable. The kitchen is compact, but the space was well used and more than adequate. All of the appliances were functional, clean and in good repair. I will say the indoor space is somewhat limited on formal dining options, but unless the weather is heinous, you will probably want to dine “al fresco” on the lovely deck anyway. (There is a covered portion as well as an umbrella and an outdoor heater.) My wife is already working on excuses to visit again, she won’t have to twist my arm :)

just had the most rejuvenating stay — this spot has been on my list of “saved” locations for YEARS. so glad we made it. i can honestly say that it will be the first of many visits! thank you again 😍😍😍 it’s my dream to have such a beautiful cabin (or 2) out in nature like theirs ❤️

Sita's place is the perfect little getaway by the beach. Steps to east cliff drive and an incredible view. Close to coffee shops and restaurants. Plus you get your own hot tub and cozy spot to relax. Absolutely recommend!

This cute little "shack" was very cozy and perfect for my solo retreat. The location is in a cute, peaceful little neighborhood in the woods. The unit is a compact space, but had everything I needed! The window looks out on beautiful trees and feels very peaceful. The mattress was on the firmer side, but comfortable. The space heater kept it very warm. I was able to park right out front. My pup and I felt very welcomed by Devora who was very friendly and who showed me around the property. Alice's Restaurant was a 10 minute drive and fun, dog-friendly place to have breakfast. A lovely little getaway! Thank you!

We had an amazing experience. The place is cozy, private, peaceful and full of supplies (kitchen, bathroom and food). Hosts were responsive and friendly. Mark kindly showed us around the farm and we were able to pet and feed the animals (duck, geese, goats, baby pigs, chicken, rooster and cats). Wifi works pretty good, there is an cooling unit if hot weather and an electric heater if weather is cold. we used the heater and work very good. Bed and pillows are confortable. Free parking space. Keep in mind this is an open space and mosquitos may arrive. 40min from Yosemite south entrance and 1.5 hrs from Ysoemite Valley 100% recommended place. We would definitely come back.

We had a terrific stay at the Rockridge casita. Easy walk from BART, absolutely beautiful neighborhood with restaurants, shopping, public library, easy access to San Francisco. The casita was clean and bright with everything we needed for our stay. Bed was comfortable, heated bathroom floors a nice perk. This is the kind of AirBnB I like where it's not completely sterile and devoid of character. We also enjoyed getting to meet Diana, her kids and their pup Ziggy!

We loved staying at this little cabin on top of a mountain and wished we could have extended a few more nights! The views were amazing, especially the beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and starry nights. Taking showers outdoors with a view was also a fun experience. The cabin had everything we needed to spend a relaxing weekend fishing at Bass Lake.

Linda was an amazing host. Me, and my partner absolutely loved her place. It was very peaceful, and such a relaxing getaway. She went above and beyond by providing snacks, s’more and firewood, and would restock if we asked! Anything we needed was provided! Me and my partner, we’re celebrating our baby Moon, and she was very thoughtful and left a bottle of Prosecco for my partner, and apple juice for me. Definitely planning to come back.
