We had the most magical time at ARKAH - we rented the entire resort and were given permission to host our wedding with all of our family here. The space is even more stunning in person than the pictures show, the rooms are all clean and comfortable, and the wildlife was a treat! The grounds are immaculately kept and the staff are very polite. The hosts were very gracious after a mix-up about which rooms we were staying in after we decided to extend our stay with a few family members. Their local recommendations were very helpful. They also put us in contact with Nadia to arrange transportation and we couldn’t have done it without her! The location is very easy to find - ideal if you have a vehicle but taking the Colectivo is super easy as well. We will be returning!

We were a group of 3 retired couples that stayed for 30 days at Laura’s place. We loved the area! Gated , safe area, secure property. Walked to beautiful beach , and restaurants, convenience stores. The house was nice and very well stocked. Rooftop was great! The community was very friendly and helpful

Great spot in the jungle, but close to everything by car — groceries, restaurants and beach. Vickie gave great recommendations and was very friendly. The private cenote was fun to hang out in. The projector and screen were nice to have at night. Place was clean, surroundings were tranquil.

La casa está muy bonita, grande y limpia La atención del anfitrión fué excelente, la alberca grande y bonita. Tiene absolutamente todo lo necesario para una buena estancia. Hay una tienda 7 eleven y un oxxo muy cerca pero yo recomendaría la renta de un auto para moverse con mayor facilidad , ya que el fraccionamiento se encuentra algo retirado del centro y playas. En conclusión , fué una experiencia muy grata y las próximas vacaciones esperamos volver a reservar en Casa Tucán

Beautiful surroundings, friendly hosts. Kitchen had coffee maker, electric kettle and other conveniences. Notably, the hosts provided a 5 gallon unopened water cooler jug and that was much appreciated! Beds were adequately comfortable, with clean linens and towels. I slept like a rock-could hear peaceful jungle and rain sounds.

Had the best stay in my Mexico travel history. Have to go through 2 seperate secure checkpoints to get access to this neighborhood inside the neighborhood. All the homes are brand new. Positives: safe, had 2 small minor issues that were immediately fixed- they weren’t the owners fault just a drain was clogged and immediately fixed and then new toilet needed a fix and was done with ease. Cons: was so new that it’s difficult to find without coordinates but it’s far worth it. I don’t think there were any cons honestly. They don’t let randoms and strangers in unless you set up and approve it. It’s extremely safe and far better than resorts and hotels overall: Will probably do annual trips and group vacations here from now on. My three year old daughter and I had a wonderful stay at AWA Playacar! We stayed for 9 days and we will definitely come back. The place was exactly as described—spacious, clean, and great for families with little kids. My daughter loved the pool, playground (only place I've seen in Playa del Carmen that has a playground), and kids club. The swim up bar and grill were great! The location was ideal, only a short walk to Playa del Carmen and some of our favorite spots. The neighborhood was peaceful, and we felt completely safe. Fernanda was amazing—super friendly and helpful. She provided excellent local recommendations and were always quick to respond to any questions I had. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Fanny is a great host and my friend and I absolutely loved her place. Perfect for two friends as we each had our own room and bathroom. The overall layout is sweet with the kitchen and living room area in the same space. The couch was very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with high quality items. The location is great with biking trails all around Playacar. Fanny even gave us bikes which made exploring the region much easier a lot of fun! We were there for 18 days and would have loved to extend our stay longer though she was fully booked! Thank you Fanny! Five stars! We will be back! Thank you.

Olivia was a wonderful host and her apartment was a beautiful retreat for our family. She was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment complex was a great blend for our teenager and younger child with pools and a playground, and we loved walking across the street every night for delicious gelato. Just a short walk to town, we loved taking daily adventures. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was a dream, looked exactly like the photos. The interior is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Asaf was super responsive, helped us find a driver and provided us great restaurants to visit and things to do around town. Very kid friendly as well!

Everything was amazingly wonderful for what I needed. It's a small space for 2 maybe. I was solo and busy most days and nights, esp for meals. The kitchens great and well stocked but there's no oven, small or any other size. The bed is a dbl.. There's nowhere to sit and relax other than the bed and the chair at the foot of the bed. There's a cute little wooden set of a table and 2 chairs on a nice little balcony if one enjoys sitting outside w/ a coffee or whatever. The gym is nice enough but basic and sadly missing the 15 lb dumbells that I use for most exercises. The pool has a wonderful view and is a nice enough area but there are only a few uncomfortable lounge chairs and 2 broken ones. There's no way to sit "around" the pool either. All in all its a great place to use as a home base if you're in Playa to go and do and be out n about. The hosts are wonderful and responsive and very accommodating.

This was honestly my best and most favorite airbnb experience that I've ever had. The accommodations are absolutely stunning and are exactly as pictured. The location felt so safe and was incredibly convenient. Everything we needed was near by and the hosts TRULY went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of the entire stay of our trip. I felt as if I was staying at a friend's house. Thank you so much for hosting us, I would chose to come back here any time I decide to come to Playa Del Carmen!

What a phenomenal time! I’ve been coming to Playa at least once a year since 2020 and this property is the best I’ve stayed! The condo is very spacious, all of it: bedrooms, baths, living area and full of light with triple height ceiling. Right outside living room there’s your own private terrace with chaise lounges/table set for a more private rest if you don’t want to be in the common areas. A few beautiful stone steps down and you’re in the magnificent pool area of the complex with it’s olympic size pool for amazing lap swimming. Complex is chic, elegant with amazing landscape that keeps units very private; ambiance is overall relaxing and respectful and tons of beautiful lounges for everyone. Cherry on top? Hamacas in the pool, and great fitness center. Everything was perfection! Communication easy and friendly thanks to Claudio, property manager. My family and I loved it and can’t wait to be back!

Great place to stay in Playa Del Carmen. The property is beautiful and the pool is great. Highlight is lounging in the hammock over the water. Place was super clean and having 2 king beds is fantastic. Host was great with providing instructions. 15 minute walk to the closest beach and also 15 minute walk to the end of famous 5th avenue. An OXXO across the street with a few eateries, and the pool bar has a little cafe with snacks you can buy. Definitely recommend!

Maria's place was perfect for me. Quiet, beautiful, and within 25 to 30 minutes drive to any spot on the island. A/C, cable TV, WiFi, all great. I'd stay here again. Marie greeted me when I arrived, and responded immediately when I wrote her.

Może to nie jest miejsce dla wszystkich, ale dla nas było cudowne. To jest raj na ziemi i spelnienie moich marzeń o pobycie w dżungli. Codziennie masz kontakt z dzikimi zwierzętami, jak małpy, ptaki, piękne motyle, legwan. Do tego na posesji jest prywatny cenot, gdzie codziennie możesz pływać i jesteś tam tylko sam. Christiam jest wspaniałym gospodarzem. Szybko reagował na nasze potrzeby. Jest bardzo przyjazny. Przepiękna oaza z dala od turytecznego ruchu. Ale na tyle blisko od sklepów, miasteczka, restauracji i barów, że poradziliśmy sobie bez samochodu przez 3 dni. ❤️
