I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly responsive—when I had an issue with the shower head tube, he quickly bought a new one, ensuring a hassle-free experience. The location is also a big plus, just a short walk to Ximending MRT, making it super convenient to get around. While the building itself is older, the moment I stepped inside, it had a cozy, home-like feel. Overall, a great stay, and I’d definitely come back!

We had an amazing time staying in this place. It has everything we needed - near Ximen walking district, peaceful area, secured building, great and very responsive hosts, comfortable soft beds, complete appliances and very clean unit. We felt right at home! No wonder the place is almost fully booked. If you are sensitive to traffic noise, or tall, you may be a bit bothered - location is along main roads and the ceiling is loft type (low). It worked just fine with us though. My kids totally loved the interior! and being a clean freak myself, I was satisfied with its cleanliness. 100% recommended! We’ll stay here again, no hesitations. Plus, it has an elevator. 💯

host if very quick to answer questions. gave us clear instructions 2 days before our arrival. the host was also kind enough to let us check in early because the previous guest checked out early as well. the place was clean and had everything that we needed. smooth check in and out. the area was really cool, lots of underrated food stalls. this is located in the center of city but doesn’t feel like it because it was really quiet. near the train station and bus stop as well. overall, good stay for a goof price. accessible! will definitely book again!

Henry's place was conveniently located and had the separate bedroom space we were looking for. It's very central and also very quiet at night. (Having a sleeping mask was useful.) Henry provided everything we needed for an efficient stay and for two, the loft space (two beds are in a mezzanine) is more than comfortable. The two love-seats and the downstairs bed (the 1 we used) are comfortable. Henry was extremely communicative and responsive with any questions and took good care of us! This is a large building but it's a quick in and out. We used the old but functional washer/dryer on the floor, which charged around 30 NTD and 20 NTD (no complaints). The location really is very convenient, and we were glad to have also experienced this central part of Taipei! Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay in Formosa Home. The communication was easy, friendly and proactive, the apartment in lively neighborhood with restaurants, market, 7-11 and metro in walkable distance. We definitely recommend.

This airbnb was in a fantastic location, was very close to Ximending but not too noisy at night. The place is quite cosy but it was the perfect size for a couple. The hosts were great at communicating, provided plenty of suggested activities for us to do in Taipei, and answered all of our questions promptly. Would recommend!

Excellent location to access Ximending area restaurants and stores. Carrefour is just down the block and also has restaurants within. I bought ChiaTe pineapple cake for gifts back home there on our last day. Recommend Santa Cruz Organic food store nearby too for organic choices. Location also excellent to access buses, direct to blue and green MRT line (and from there, all the MRT lines). It worked well for every touristy place we wanted to visit. Vivian’s place was a great fit for us because it actually has two bedrooms so accommodated us with our adult son well. There’s not a solid wall between the upper loft and lower bedroom but there is a thick curtain and sliding doors to both bedrooms to separate from living area. The kitchen was efficient and perfect for us to have breakfast there. Shower was nice and roomy. Lots of storage. Washing machines/dryer was useful for us too. Lastly, we loved the massage chair, so great after a long day out! Thanks, Vivian, for hosting us!

The location is prefect and feel very safe, as it is just next to the police station. Very easy to get food and massage.

Landlord was super nice and flexible, I arrived one day early and he already prepared the room for me. The place is good and clean, and also provided enough household goods for the period of time I had to stay there!

Louis’ place was the perfect location, having a convenient store right below and the train station across the street. It’s also an arm’s reach away from the city and night markets. The place also has all the listed amenities and was clean to boot. Louis gave clear instructions for check-in and even included a video. Overall worth every penny!

A lot of amenities nearby, very convenient. Room is fairly clean, but do note that the building itself is not. One night, we came back to many dead cockroaches in the hallway but thankfully it was cleaned up by morning.

We had a wonderful experience staying at David’s place. Everything was just as described and David always responded immediately whenever we had any questions. In addition, the apartment had a washer/dryer combo and Wi-Fi which we found very convenient. The apartment was located near the Guting station which made transportation going around the city very easy. The only thing to note was that the loft’s upper floor had a very low ceiling in some parts. This did not bother us, but it may be inconvenient to some taller guests. We would absolutely stay at David’s place again the next time we are in Taipei.
