This is a great place to stay. It's close to everything in town, and the picture represents the property well. Mark was easy to reach and is local. I would use this property again.

The Hen House is the perfect place to host family or friends for a little getaway. When I arrived, the space was even better than the photos and very spacious. The location is right in downtown Lexington with lots to do, including restaurants with live music, the beach, coffee shops, bars, and cute shops selling local goods/crafts. There are a couple things that did bum me out, including a few outlets not working in the bathrooms, and the parkinglot not being cleared from snow— stairs VERY slippery— but those are not simple fixes for some airbnb hosts and I get it!! There was a shovel and ice salt supplied 👌🏻 Everything else was perfect and more than enough for what we were looking for.

This is the favorite AirBnB we've stayed at, extremely comfortable, thoughtfully and carefully organized, and very clean. That's why we've returned for a second time this year!

Mark was super awesome, and the place was great. It’s small, but it was exactly what I needed. Full kitchen, bed was comfy, bathroom is small but totally useable without issue (and I’m a bigger person!) The coffee shop downstairs is delicious, and the location is right in the middle of all the cool stuff to see in Lexington. 100% I will be back in the summer!

The house backs up to the Black River. There are Gorgeous views. The firepit was really nice. The entire house was perfectly clean. The kitchen is well stocked. Downtown Lexington is very close and super cute we can highly recommend the coffee shop as well as the beach. Blakes orchard was also a fun day trip on country roads with no traffic and lots of fall colors. Our entire family loved staying in your house. Thank You So Much!

This was such a lovely cottage in Lexington! My husband and I took a weekend trip here, and we went home so relaxed. The bed was comfy and all the amenities were in the kitchen for us to cook meals. The walk to the lake is easy (less than 5 minutes) and the drive to downtown Lexington is ideal (7 minutes). Ashleigh is arguably the MOST responsive host we've had to date--and we airbnb a lot. She is fast to respond to questions and it's obvious she takes hosting seriously; that is most appreciated. We loved the home and we are certain you will too! It's the perfect getaway spot for couples or small families.

We stayed here for a long weekend with relaxation being our goal. The house is exactly as pictured and described. It is a beautiful home that was the perfect place for us to escape our busy lives while having all the modern comforts. We loved being able to view the lake from so many rooms. Since it was a cool fall weekend, we didn’t get in the water, but we were able to enjoy walking the beach and watching the sunrise over the lake each morning. The backyard is set up to be able to enjoy the view throughout the day. Vicki has done an amazing job making sure the house is beautifully appointed while also being comfortable. She was a great host and very easy to work with. We absolutely loved every part of our stay and hope to come back soon!

We stayed over Christmas for one week. It snowed heavily and the owner was kind enough to remove snow from the driveway before our arrival. Also, there were beautiful Christmas decorations and even a little lit tree which was very thoughtful. The house was nicely decorated even without the holiday decor. I felt I was staying in a home rather than a rental which was nice. We had all that we could need while we visited. There were even two types of coffee makers. BTW- there is a lovely coffee shop about 2 miles down the road in Port Sanilac. One of the best things about the house is the views. We loved watching the Lake from our bed in the morning. BTW- I felt the bed was comfortable. To the right of the house is a roadside pull-off/park which gave us more privacy. We fit two adults and one teen (Our 9-year-old stayed 1-2 and opted for grandmas the other nights) comfortably. Perfect size for a group of 4. We would recommend staying in this beautiful house. Amazing stay for a getaway with friends. Wonderful amenities and fantastic touches all over the house. Enjoyed the hot tub and golf cart as well! Would recommend to everyone!

We loved our quick getaway at Jillian’s place. The home is so cute, everything is very clean, and the master bed is super comfortable! Just a short walk to the beach and short drive to restaurants. Enjoyed every minute!

We had a great girls weekend!! The Harmony House was perfect!! It was very clean and comfortable!! A short walk to the beach and only a few miles to Lexington for dinner!! We will definitely be back!! ❤️
