We got in late with two small kids. Todd had the place stocked with groceries for us and arranged for our transportation from the airport. The place is beautiful. We swam in the lake a ton and were treated to close encounters with Howler monkeys 2 of our 3 mornings there. We cannot wait to return. Todd and the staff were so helpful and responsive. Don’t hesitate!

Highly recommend this private cabin with breathtaking views of Laguna de Apoyo, Granada, and Lake Nicaragua. The retreat (hotel) is very new and modern with beautiful design and architecture. The staff (especially Alejandro the administrator and Johnny our driver) were very friendly and accommodating. It was very helpful having all of our transportation, tours, and reservations coordinated by the hotel. The onsite dining was delicious and we enjoyed having our meals al fresco enjoying the spectacular views and pool side service. The hotel grounds are gorgeous with blooming gardens surrounding the main building and cabin. Having a private cabin a few steps away provided some extra privacy and space for us while still being close to everything we needed. The cabin itself was very spacious and the amenities such as the AC, wifi, and hot shower we were glad to have as not all hotels in the area offer these. Town of Granada & Mombacho volcano are only 20/30 min away so you can easily visit.

Allan’s place was what I saw on the pics, very nice house, clean and well maintained. Easy to find, super easy to check in, Allan was very attentive all the time that I had a question or concern. Thank you Allan, I’ll be back in May for sure.

This was our fourth year staying at Sandor's place. There are always changes for the better. The grounds are beautiful and the house has plenty of room for up to four people. The pool area with shaded patio is nice for the hot Nicaragua weather. Carlos and Cristhian, caretakers, are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Sandor is always quick to respond to any questions we have. We are already looking forward to a return trip in 2026!

Excelente casa frente a la laguna de Apoyo, una vista impresionante. El lugar es tranquilo para disfrutar en familia o con amistades. La casa tiene todo el equipamiento necesario para las amenidades disponibles. El personal que nos atendió durante la visita siempre fue de gran ayuda y bien amables.

Listing is precisely as indicated in description/photos at time of my stay. Clean, good security measures and appliances in working condition. Air conditioning works very well and there is even warm water. Host was kind and diligently helped to make my last minute evening reservation faster, even despite me feeling impatient due to it being the final few hours of visiting my girlfriend and me wanting to accomplish some things with her before taking my flight at 2am. It was easy for my girlfriend to go back and spend the remainder of the night there after I left because there is a remote control key (and / or code) that opens and closes the property entrance gate in addition to keys to your own particular apartment studio room. I saw that there is also a washer and dryer available for use. This place is walking distance to many restaurants and stores, close to some malls, and only about 11 or 13 minutes from the airport. It is also located on the same road as the airport.

This was my second stay at this charming garden bungalow, and it once again exceeded all my expectations. The moment I arrived, I was welcomed by a serene yet conveniently located retreat—nestled far enough from the hustle and bustle to offer tranquility, yet only a short walk from shopping malls, restaurants, and public transport. The bungalow's thoughtful layout truly impressed me. The unique second-story loft bedroom is not only cozy but also adds a delightful touch of character to the space. The fully stocked kitchen and comfortable first-floor living area made it easy to settle in and feel right at home, while the outdoor patio and lush garden provided the perfect backdrop for unwinding after a busy day exploring the area. What really stood out during my stay was the impeccable cleanliness and attention to detail. Knowing that fresh linens and towels are provided and that the entire space is thoroughly disinfected for each guest gave me peace of mind and allowed me to relax comp

It was a great stay at the lovely house inside a gated community. The private beach access was perfect. It’s a beautiful place. There are few details which would make the stay even better especially outdoors but the good price made it up for it. I had a great work flow, even though at certain times of the day it got very hot in the house which was then the perfect time to go for a swim. I slept very good, the area is very quiet. There are few small local tiendas on the road to find fruit & vegetables as well as basic groceries-if you come without a car like me. The massage at Casa marimba was a highlight. If you seek some quiet time to focus on work or other projects without getting distracted/disturbed much, this is the perfect place.
