What a lovely stay! We really enjoyed making a fire and cooking by the river. Such an awesome location and only a mile from the Nantahala Outdoor Center. I’d highly recommend Donnie’s stay to anyone looking for a private get away in the mountains. We will definitely stay again.

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful Airbnb. Super easy booking. The host was very responsive she called me upon arrival to get me precise check-in details. The space was beautiful inside beautiful new shower very comfortable bed and it’s sat right next to a beautiful river. The restaurant at the front of the property was excellent. Very friendly service and good food. Will definitely stop here again when in the area next time thank you for a great stay A++

I loved staying here! Townsend is my home away from home and I am so excited to come back and stay longer. There were so many places to sit and read and it was SO close to Cades Cove, I loved everything!

Very conveniently located within Townsend, which is quaint and has a good selection of restaurants, supermarkets, gas stations, etc. Studio was as described and they provided bathroom and kitchen amenity kits, which were helpful. Would recommend for an affordable but reliable stay when visiting the area!

The space was beautifully decorated and spotless. The outside area by the river is so peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay! Would definitely stay here again!

Mrs. Dottie was wonderful. Her and Mr. Don were beyond friendly and made us feel right at home. The apartment looks just as the pictures show. A new unit. Super clean. (We are very particular people and this place was one of the cleanest ever). We Will definitely be back the next time we stay in Townsend. A wonderful place to spend my 50th birthday. The home was very clean and comfortable and anything we needed was provided. It is quite spacious yet sitting in the living room at night with the gas fireplace turned on was so cozy. Sitting on the back porch was peaceful and serene - total bliss. Gloria is a wonderful host and I would recommend staying here and hope to again.

Absolutely amazing! The farmhouse was cute and private yet it had much to do on the property and was close to town. Fell asleep to the sound of the creek every night. Hot tub was perfect. We spent Easter here. Perfect place to spend a holiday. Will definitely be back! We’ve stayed in plenty of places in Bryson and surrounding areas due to familial ties in the area and this was by far one of the best! 😊😊

Reba, thank you so much for your hospitality. We would definitely stay here again. Your back porch is so peaceful with the sound of the roaring creek. All the amenities in the backyard were very nice. The only suggestion we have would be to make the shower a little bit bigger. I am a lifelong North Carolinian and Robbinsville is the place I have returned to the most. Thanks again!

Beautiful & peaceful location. The house was lovely, kitchen well stocked with kitchen items, gadgets. Big beautiful windows to see out to the lake; and both bedrooms w/ lake views. Beautiful house! Lovely porch & dock, where we spent all our time.

Our family has been coming to Bear Paw for the last 20 years for our family reunion. This was our first time in this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space, and our children truly enjoyed the game room and well stocked board games. We ended up meeting the neighbors when enjoying the lake and they were so wonderful as well.

We only spent three night, but wish it would have been for more! It was such a peaceful three days! While my husband was out riding his motorcycle during the day, my daughter and I spent all of our time in one of the multiple sitting areas just listening and enjoying the beautiful nearby creeks. We also enjoyed the hot tub in the early mornings and evenings! Really great experience, will likely be back again!

From the moment we put in our reservation Bobby and Dina made us feel so very welcomed. We truly enjoyed our stay at their beautiful home on the river. The peace and tranquility of the home made it a much needed getaway. I would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the area. Bobby and Dina were super responsive to any requests we had and made some super recommendations of things in the surrounding are. We rode up on motorcycles and the drive in and driveway were very accessible for us to navigate and park. we will definitely be making this our usual place to stay when we're in the area.

We all had a great time, house was exactly as we anticipated. Would highly recommend it to all, and would consider going again. Lock box was however hard to open.

We stayed a week with our dogs. The duplex is located right next to a beautiful creek. The deck had everything we needed to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The cabin itself is spotless and comfortable with all the essentials. Sasha is the best host. Great communication and very helpful.

The place was immaculate! The kitchen was well organized and easy to work in. We felt at home from the first moment with all the thoughtful touches. I often feel like rentals and hotel rooms are too dark, but the lighting was excellent here—and ceiling fans! Loved staying here.

If you are looking for a quiet, clean, centrally located place to relax, this is it! Sheila was very accommodating in finding us dates that worked with our schedule. Check in was easy. Her place was spotless and very well decorated. It was a very relaxing place to stay and we were made to feel welcome. Go to Townsend and relax in the quiet side of the Smokies!!!

Being right on the river was so peaceful and relaxing! We sat on the patio every day just to listen to the water! The place was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. Minor hiccup in finding the place at night as GPS had us turn too soon so not a reflection on our host. But the place is close to lots of fun places. We would definitely stay here again!
