Location, location, location! Ilene and Al’s place was exactly what we were looking for… a private beach for our family (that includes fur babies) AND a pool! Just like we imagined and similar to our stay in Hawaii. Al and Ilene’s place is as described in the listing and focuses on the surroundings vs the accommodations. The cottage is comfortable and quaint and meets basic needs for two people, but this property is all about the very rare private beach and beautiful surroundings that are quickly disappearing from coastal FL due to the overtaking commercial properties. Get it while you can and enjoy this rare gem… it won’t be here forever!

What a lovely place to stay! Sandra and her daughter were always warm, welcoming and helpful. My dog loved the yard, and the surroundings were so peaceful. The apartment has everything we needed and more.

We loved our stay here! Would highly recommend to anyone staying around the area. Has all the amenities you could ever possibly need and the host was super attentive. 10/10!

This was our second time staying at Lubos pool house. We really enjoyed our stay and are already looking far time to escape back. Great location near restaurants, stores and beaches. Back yard and pool are a dream and very peaceful.

Susan's guest house is in a quiet neighborhood, yet convenient to everything. The pictures on the website are accurate; the house is comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. There is a lovely private and fenced patio/yard that we enjoyed relaxing in with coffee in the mornings. The AC/heat unit was essentially silent, and worked great. Susan was friendly and quickly responsive to anything we needed. If we go back to Sarasota, I will definitely try to book Susan's house again.

Thanks for the great stay. I found it small but very accommodating. I had everything I needed and the shower was great after a day on my bike and at the beach. The neighborhood reminded me of my home town in the summer, on the weekend kids outside playing. WiFi was great and driveway was big. Thanks , Norm

This place was literally perfect!! The entrance is private and the outdoor space is so quaint and cute!!! It feels so homey with the outdoor lighting. The inside was very clean and felt like home. It had everything we needed including tide pods to wash our beach towels. The shower is amazing and the couch and bed were both so comfy! I can’t say enough good things about this place. Greg was so kind to bring us more toilet paper and wash cloths that were needed. We stayed here to go to Siesta key which was about 15min away. The beach was beautiful but parking was crazy. I suggest getting there early. If you get there after 10am on a weekend, the parking lot is full and insane. We ended up paying $20 to park at a church down the street. It was an easy 10min walk to avoid the craziness. Overall, I highly recommend this place. I would totally stay here again!!!

I was really impressed from the moment I arrived. Everything in the apartment is nicely labeled and was well organized and clean. You can tell they pay attention to detail. There was a nicely done local guide, as well. The property feels like a mini resort - they’ve done a nice job with the pool/grill/outdoor area. Hosts are very welcoming and friendly.

Enjoyable stay with generous host. Excellent location; clean & new; comfortable courtyard. Will stay there again!

The Grove Getaway was perfect for a long weekend, girls stay! The apartment is beautifully decorated, equipped with all essentials and smells wonderful of a citrus grove. Upon check in, we were greeted to a beautiful welcome basket, with a variety of local recommendations. With an easy 10 minute drive to the beach, Lauren’s place was perfectly equipped with beach essentials. The stay was also walkable to local restaurants and markets in the Southside village. Lauren was extremely responsive and helpful in answering any and all questions! Would highly recommend staying here to visit Sarasota and the surrounding beaches!

Trusting a place with only a few stays isn’t normal for us, but I honestly feel like this place is going to be fully booked next time we come to Florida. It’s gorgeous and so spacious. We had everything we needed, and every question was quickly answered. We had no issues at all and loved having a home away from home after our long beach days!

Ethan’s place is perfect for families. Plenty of beds and spacious to move around. Though not exactly downtown we found it easy to walk to most places. The Legacy bike trail is a stones throw and Ethan provided bikes as well as beach supplies. We really appreciated that. Oh and the grocery is a stones throw also. It is a fantastic place to vacation.

What a find! Coastal Heaven was just perfect! It is squeaky clean and extremely comfortable! Easy access to shopping, grocery stores, beautiful beaches and everything you need. The state park is a few minutes ride away and great walks are there! You are convenient to everything you need and want. The house is a great place to relax and we will definitely return!

My stay at John's cabana was, in a single word, perfect. The description had me completely prepared and yet I was still pleasantly surprised. There was a cozy getaway feeling, as if the place was my own. It was wonderful for my working vacation needs. And super close to Siesta Key and my family too! John was very gracious and Bella and Gus will amp up your spirits as well. I am so glad I found this place. I do intend on returning but I don't want to say too much about how great it was, or else others will want to visit too. I'd rather keep the secret for myself :)

First off, Steven is a sweet guy. He really seems to be happy when his guests are happy. The little in-law is set behind Steven’s beautiful home with a nice little pool and gorgeous old oak trees in the yard. The neighborhood of Cherokee Park is uber-nice - perhaps one of the more ritzy areas, but we felt the property was really cozy and homey. It was just right. The actual location is less than 10 mins from Siesta Key and a quick drive to downtown Sarasota. While traffic can be bad at times, we managed to skip most of it due to the location and great access. The Ringling Museum, Mote Marine Lab, Sea Life Kayak tour and Get Salty fishing charter were all highlight activities. My daughter and I will remember this vacation forever! Thanks Steven!

Nancy is a wonderful host. We enjoyed our stay at her peaceful, beautiful cottage. The bed was so comfortable! It’s a quiet cottage with all the amenities needed for a perfect stay.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Nicole’s Guest House! This is a wonderful location close to excellent restaurants and coffee shops. I loved my beautiful morning walks to downtown Sarasota or to the Marina. Lido Key or Siesta Key are a close easy drive as well as to St Armand Circle. I slept comfortably and lounging on the couch was relaxing too. Nicole’s neighborhood is peaceful and safe. If I could live anywhere in Sarasota, it would be here! I would definitely come back again! Great Place and location. Everything felt new. Amenities ie. fridge, stove to include all shower soaps were available. AC worked great. Water pressure was perfect for shower. Beach towels were provided ( thanks) . The bed was perfect size and great pillows, fyi the bed is in the softer side, I prefer a firmer feel but all in all our stay was great.

Chad was extremely detailed and accommodating with his instructions and responses. Any questions I had were answered pretty much immediately. The space is beautiful with a comfortable bedroom and cozy living room. The best part was the sunroom that also included a washer and dryer. Great place to enjoy a nightcap. All described amenities were included and easily accessible. Would definitely stay again if I come back to Siesta Key.
