Wonderful stay! Completely understandable as to why it's so popular! Very private and quiet location with beautiful walkable neighborhood. It was just far enough from downtown Charleston for some peace and seclusion, but also close enough to be downtown in just a 20 minute drive. Thank you so much for the delightful stay and we cannot wait for our next trip!

The good: The space was exactly as described — clean, stylish, and in a great location. The check-in process was smooth, and communication with the host was prompt and friendly. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like extra towels, coffee, and a sweet treat for when we entered. The bed was super comfortable, and overall, it felt like a home away from home. The not-so-good: Unfortunately, there were a couple of major issues that made the stay less than ideal. First, The Beds! They were super comfortable but you couldn’t get out of them. They had memory foam and you literally sunk into the bed which was really uncomfortable waking up or getting out of the bed. Secondly, The water inside the bathroom (pressure) and (temperature) there was something that just wasn’t right. The board games were missing things( the core things). Lastly, parking (abit) of a squeeze and tight for 2 average Vehicles to be parked on location. I hope you find this review helpful!

It could have been the crippling exhaustion, but I could have stayed here forever. Extremely comfy and cozy. Bed was incredible. Host was incredible. Couldn’t recommend more.

Stayed here with family for the weekend. The place was perfect - close to the beach and far enough away from the center of town that it was quiet. We even saw deer run across the back road into the marsh. Stratton gave us some great recommendations.

William’s place was perfect for our couples getaway! We loved staying in a such a quiet area with plenty of privacy while still being within walking distance of downtown Athens. Check-in was super simple and William was an excellent host. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We loved this Airbnb! The space was very clean and cozy. The location was perfect! Lots of restaurants in Johns Island, very close to downtown Charleston, and not far to Folly Beach. The host was very responsive. Super cute Airbnb in a quiet residential area. I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was comfortable and offered many thoughtful touches, like beach supplies (towels, chairs, toys for kids, even sunscreen) and breakfast snacks in the kitchen - including some orange juice and milk in the fridge. The spacious back garden is a dream. There are flowering trellises, many lovingly tended flower beds, a fountain you can sit by with your coffee, a screened garden house with a table and hammock, and a swinging bench overlooking the marsh. Make sure to allow time to enjoy being out there, as we did.

Would definitely stay here again! Great location, easy to find and get inside. We had a long drive and had zero issues checking in. I brought my own toiletries but it looked like they had everything covered in case you forgot something. I especially appreciated all of the little treats and snacks that were left out for us. The oatmeal was yummy and really convenient being that we’re traveling. Very thoughtful! Also the bed was very comfortable. This is most important to me staying somewhere. My husband even took photos of the pillows and comforter so we can look into them when we get back home. 10/10 experience.

Very peaceful, comfortable bed and convenient to other towns. We stayed there because we had a conference at the coliseum and we were so close which made it very convenient. Would stay again if in that area. Kristina was very quick to respond to messages. She's a great host!!

Sherry and Hal are awesome! Top notch hospitality from start to finish. Our family did not want to leave when our stay was over. We highly recommend this peaceful getaway to anyone who is looking to kick back, relax, grill, and enjoy a lakefront good time. Sherry was so sweet, thoughtful, and understanding of any needs a guest may have. She thought of it all. Our son has officially adopted her as his Lake Murray Grandma! Haha. Such a wonderful experience. We can’t thank you enough!!

We LOVED the Cozy Rosewood Bungalow. It was easy to find, quiet, spacious, exactly as described, and within walking distance of some good local restaurants and a Starbucks, Brendan was an amazing host and a wonderful communicator. He took great care of us and was available to offer recommendations on places to eat and visit. I highly recommend staying with Brendan if you are in the area.

Fantastic location on the island. The perfect outdoor space to relax either in the screened in porch or by the fire or in the pool or hot tub. The perfect spot to adventure- either by bike or kayak. So many options. Emily gifted us a pie from a local bakery- nice touch.

Solo-traveler approved. A cute studio, close to the beach and the best restaurants, and super friendly owners. The coolest amenity is being able to enjoy their dock on the marsh - a special lowcountry experience! As some other reviews have said - yes, the main bed is a “full” or smaller queen (?), so while it was perfect for me as a solo traveler (and very comfy!), you might want to look elsewhere if you and your partner need a larger bed. Overall, a lovely stay and I’d stay again. They really made me feel at home!

My family and I had a terrific long weekend stay at the S&S hideaway. Everything was very clean and exactly as described. Highly recommend this spot if you find yourself in Northern Georgia.

Very well located and clean place that is an easy walk to the historic downtown area. The drive to many of the other sights and restaurants we visited was easy as this place is very central and had a parking spot that easily fit our rental minivan. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen worked well despite it being a very old (historic) home.

Super nice couple. Very helpful when needed. Awesome experiencing their world in the midst of a very private and comfortable stay! Everything you need is there if not just ask! Very accommodating even with small children.

Ed and I had a last minute stop to break up our trip. It was refreshing to walk with ease and feel right at home. Everything we needed was right at hand: comfortable bed and linens, Nice clean bathroom with extra things you may need or forgot & nice thick towels. Ed and I travel through there quite often. We would enjoy stopping in again.

Located halfway between Downtown Charleston and Folly Beach, this cozy place was just what we needed. With two spacious bedrooms and a spacious bathroom, as well as a living area and kitchenette, there was plenty of room to spread out. Their yard is lovely and our son enjoyed the tree swing. One morning we even saw an owl in their yard. They have a big, nice outdoor shower also that we didn’t get a chance to use. Be aware that every time you or the residents above you need hot water, the very loud hot water heater turns on. There is not a dishwasher nor a traditional stove (there is a large toaster oven and microwave available), but plenty of good restaurants around. Our first night, we were tired from a long drive and walked to The Harley (delicious restaurant; highly recommend!) and then walked to the Harris Teeter grocery store for breakfast fixings. It was a peaceful and safe neighborhood with lots of people out walking their dogs. We would definitely stay here again!

Ms. Carla was a great host she went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her apartment is exactly as described it was so beautiful. The kids loved the movie theatre. We had to stay here as our home was under construction and it was our home away from home. She was an amazing host and I would come back. I can not express enough how thankful I am for Ms. Carla.

I absolutely loved the place, it was beautiful, clean & better than expected. They even had some snacks provided in the kitchen. Ann was super helpful & responsive. I really enjoyed the place and would definitely recommend it to others.

Paula was very accomodating and helpful. We booked her home for our family during my daughter's wedding so we had special requests and she was such an amazing host. I highly recomend this lovely space. Thank you Paula!
