Carole’s place was perfect, from the checking in, parking arrangement which was early, the little things like the bottle of wine, crisps, milk and juice, a 5 minute walk to a very enjoyable place like York to explore. Without doubt if we return to York and the apartment is available then we would book it again.

A great place to stay, the check in was seamless, the flat matched the description and our expectations. The location is spot on and within easy reach of all amenities and sights of interest. The easily accessible secure parking is an added bonus. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at the appartement. Great for a weekend trip. Is on the ground floor and has a step free side entrance that’s accessible for wheelchair users. Lovely location next to the river. Would definitely stay again!

This apartment has an excellent location, a few minutes walk to Micklegate and then another 5 mins brings you to the centre of York. It was very clean and had everything needed for a short stay. It is compact, but that didn’t bother us as we were hardly there during the day. Clare is very responsive with access instructions and recommendations for places to eat. We had great meals at Delrios, Santanos and enjoyed brunch at Burberries. I’d absolutely recommend Clare’s place for a stay in York.

Ellie was a friendly and responsive host. Everything experienced was as described. Very clean and cozy setting with beautiful private surroundings. Excellent value for money! Thank you.

We booked very last minute and received response re booking and checking in within minutes. Check in is with key box by the door only thing I would say is all the other key boxes have the number on the outside but this one is blank and the number is inside the flap. Anthony kept in touch during our stay with messages. The apartment was in The Bay where we have stayed before and we found it to be comfortable and quiet for a few days break away. The bed was very comfortable with good bed linen and the rainwater shower in the bathroom was very good. The little welcome pack of tea bags coffee 2 biscuits and small washing up liquid, dishwasher tablet, jey cloth and sponge was a useful addition. The apartment is minutes away from the main road from Bridlington to Scarborough(no road noise at all in or outside the apartment) and is very convenient for exploring the east coast or Yorkshire wolds. Filey is about 5 to 10 minutes drive away. Thanks Anthony we had a really nice break away.

We had a great time at Zoe’s flat. It was absolutely beautiful with lots of lovely touches like fun games, interesting books and flapjack that we all enjoyed, plus everything we needed for our stay with easy, clear instructions. Thanks so much!

We had the best stay here. I’ve stayed at lots of lodges and this one was by far the best. Beautifully decorated within, had everything you needed and more. This place is a home from home. the hot tub was clean and lovely to sit in after some local walks we went. The pub was handy right across from our lodge for when we first arrived and needed a bite to eat. The site itself was peaceful. We headed in to Beverly for a day out which was close by and down to some local beaches. If your thinking about booking this place I would highly recommend you won’t be disappointed

First time booking through airb&b, lovely house very clean and welcoming. Home from home feel as soon as you enter, great selection of toys and games to keep the kids entertained also a nice little welcome hamper was lovely on arrival. Host was very informative with all the details needed to make it all stress-free , Would highly reccomend booking cottage. Thank you joanne for a lovely stay.

Stayed over the Easter bank holiday weekend, great pre arrival instructions and local recommendations were really helpful. Easy to find, park and access the property. Everything inside was immaculate and in good order. Whitby centre easily walkable. No hesitation in recommending to others.

The cottage was cosy, clean and comfortable. Check in was very easy and the location was ideal for a quick trip away. I would definitely stay again.

As fabulous as expected. Ideal space for two couples, high spec accommodation with lots of room to relax . The kitchen is small if you intend to self cater but the facilities and equipment are excellent. We spent most of the time sat in the dining room watching the peacocks who wandered up to the window each day to be admired. Played tennis and walked into the nearby village along a public footpath 50 mins to a very good pub ( Dawnay Arms ) and evenings in the hot tub . Thoroughly enjoyed it, the host ( Lucy ) is onsite and is welcoming and supportive with communication without any intrusion . No hesitation recommending.

Fantastic house with lots of space for a grown up family of 4. It was a little tricky to find but the instructions were excellent which helped. We loved the location. I would recommend this place to stay for those wanting explore York on foot. The description mentioned two parking spaces (we only had one big car) but we were asked to only park inside the garage on the arrival day. There was a table in the other advertised parking bay. Our car did fit in but with probably 2 inches clearance per side at the entrance of the garage. However, once in it was lovely to know the car was secure for the duration of our stay. The crockery and cutlery was not clean, we didn’t report it but instead put the whole lot in the dishwasher ( plenty of tablets provided) and headed out to the nearby pub. I think this was more from the previous visitor but maybe the cleaning team should have checked. Also there was some underwear left in one bedroom when we arrived.

Absolutely fantastic location, walking distance to everything you will need. Had an absolutely great time property was so well equipped with everything you need. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Louis’ place. It was spotless, with everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We would certainly recommend this as a place to stay.

The apartment had everything we could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean and well set out. The large bed was very comfy. Bars and restaurants were only a short walk away. The apartment is close to the centre of town but the area is surprisingly peaceful. The welcome pack was a nice touch and was appreciated. We felt at home straight away Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and Matthew did not hesitate to work with us to retrieve an item we had left behind. it was an amazing weekend and we will definitely return. We have stayed at Theres’s apartment every January for at least 5 years and we love it. Theresa is a wonderful and friendly host and the apartment is amazing! Can’t wait to return!

Very clean and modern apartment, very conveniently located near the train station 15 minutes walk from the walls. Highly recommended.

Beautiful clean high quality cottage, perfect for 2 people, greeted by John and Lyndsey, such friendly hosts without being intrusive. Very welcoming to receive a some vital items on arrival like wine, milk, bread, butter, jam and more. Fabulous location in a quiet village, can only hear the birds tweeting. Perfect for walking right on the cinder track. Two pubs within walking distance. Would definitely recommend. We will be returning there some day in the future. I think that this was my third stay and I'll be back again. Such a lovely peaceful setting and I always feel right at home. Bex was, as ever, very helpful and friendly in her communication. This is a great stay and great value for money.

Wonderful apartment and Rebecca was fab. There wasn’t much to ask but when I did she responded within a few minutes. Stunning apartment with everything you could ask for including location and views of the York Minster. We will be back !

Marian was a wonderful host, being flexible and giving good instructions. We loved the neighborhood that was very calm and friendly. The apartment was super clean and spacious and the perfect place to relax after sightseeing. We recommend!
