Lovely few days stay, Hayley was very friendly and helpful. Cottage is stunning, much bigger than the photos show and had everything’s we needed. Beds very comfy and big en-suites in every room (although there was only 2 of us) secure garden for our two miniature dachshunds which was great. Location is very peaceful and quiet. Can recommend lunch at the Cumberland which was about a 10 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful cottage. Was perfect for us and the dogs. Fully enclosed fenced garden with a gate down to a quiet riverside walk. The hottub was huge and warm ready for our arrival. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen. We only stayed for 1 night so cannot comment on the local area as we did not do much exploring but we noticed a spar walking distance just down the road and a few cafes.

A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

The Cottage is peaceful, relaxing and very well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and hope to return.

Very well designed cottage making the best possible use of quite a small space - with both a shower room and bathroom , utility room as well as kitchen/living space and the patio with hot tub. Although near to the High Street with a range of takeaways and a superb butcher (Hunters) the cottage is in a very quiet street. The nearby Curate Wynd free car park was very handy and we could unload from there. Although Dawn and Darren were away Dawn was on hand to answer any queries. We had a great three day break - spending the days at the RSPB Nature Reserve in stunning weather. We ate out one night at the Balgedie Toll Tavern - highly recommended for great food and very good service.

Loved our two night stay in Stanley Cottage. Great parking to rear of the cottage. Lovely wee touches like, bread, prosecco, milk, orange juice and biscuits. Ben was great and will return when back down in that area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vivienne’s place for a few nights. It was very peaceful, with plenty of room and a great functional kitchen. Vivienne was very responsive to our queries during our stay. The hot tub and fireplace were highlights!

Helen was an excellent host and very helpful when we were dropped off at the wrong place! We felt really welcomed in their home, and enjoyed the lovely welcome gift. The hot tub is lovely and overlooks the beautiful property. Loved our stay!

we had a fantastic 4 days in the cottage, everything was as described, what a lovely quiet place with fantastic views. would definitely recommend and would love to stop again.

This house was even better than we expected from the photos. The location was good, on the outskirts of town, but walkable into the centre, with shops and restaurants. We all enjoyed our stay in Aviemore and would love to go back. We can recommend Carol's house for visiting the area.

We loved coming back to this beautiful cottage- wish we were there for longer, but we know we’ll be back!!

Otter Cottage was a wonderful find, & I'm so glad we chose it. On the outskirts of Inverness, & right by the start of the Caledonian Canal, it was easy to get to, & a truly beautiful spot. The cottage was gorgeous, cosy, clean & had absolutely everything we needed...including a great pub about a 2 minute walk away (over the railway bridge!). We had our dog with us, & she was also made to feel at home with provision of a basket, blanket & bowl. There were plenty of pretty walks for her too. Inverness centre was only an 8 minute drive, & there was an Aldi, Lidl & Co-op on that route for supplies! My partner managed to fit in the Parkrun at nearby Torvean Park, which was also a very close drive! We had so much fun exploring the local coast, & Inverness & Helen was a wonderful, responsive host...we'll definitely be visiting again in the future.

Great stay in Philippa’s place, very cosy and set out in the countryside. Would definitely come back for some quiet time.

Fantastic 3 day stay for my mother-in-law's 70th birthday. The cottage was perfect and we chose it specially so we could get to Edinburgb and Glasgow during our stay. Would definitely book again. Great value for money.

Lovely cottage in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable, Diane has thought of everything and the little extras like the dog blankets/bowls were very much appreciated. The wood burner made us extra cosy when we had a rainy evening. Great to have parking and somewhere near to exercise our dog. An ideal location , we had days out to Kielder Forest & Seahouses as well as exploring the Roman fort sites. Would definitely recommend this cottage and hopefully we will be back. Thank you.

Manish Cottage is such a lovely, homely place to stay. Everything about it was idyllic. Our weather was a bit wet! but it was lovely to return each evening to the warmth and cosiness of the cottage. The decor was gorgeous and everywhere was spotless. The setting was perfect at the side of the Loch and we had the local sheep and geese to keep us company! We would definitely recommend staying in Manish Cottage..it was beautiful ❤️

We had a lovely stay at Cornelius's place. The location was great, cottage was comfy and warm (we loved the wood stove, kept the whole place warm). Our only regret was that we only had three nights there. There is so much to do you could easily spend much longer there. Thanks. Andy, Zara and Ayesha

Rachael's cottage is wonderful - we stayed six nights in the Spring and it was delightful. We especially appreciated some really nice welcoming touches such as some fresh flowers and chocolates for our arrival. We also appreciated the comprehensive heating system the cottage has - it was a little cold outside but we were always snug and warm inside the cottage. Rachael also has two wood burning fires with plenty of wood provided and even some coal as well. The kitchen is also very well equipped with a modern oven and cook top. All in all a lovely stay in a lovely cottage in an amazing area - stunning views and in the Spring, tons of tiny and cute lambs right outside the front door! We will happily come back!

The Vault is the perfect place to stay while visiting Hexham. It really was a home from home. Super clean, cosy and a great location. Alex was a great, friendly host. Can’t recommend Alex and The Vault highly enough. Thank you Alex

What a fantastic place to spend a few days. The cottage is spacious and very well equipped. It was great for the dogs with an enclosed garden a stones throw from the beach, and Elly kindly left bowls etc for them, along with a fab welcome basket for us. The location was stunning, with plenty of beaches on the doorstep, and a short drive from the iconic sights of Lewis and Harris. A great time was had by all!

we had a brilliant 3 nights, using the cottage as a base for climbing in torridon. excellent location. near a lovely little beach and peaceful, surrounded by views. the cottage was lovely, everything we needed with super comfy bed and sofas and a great power shower! will definitely book again

Amazing location. Wish we had stayed longer just to take advantage of all the gorgeous views and amazing restaurants. Host was super helpful with recommendations for a Sunday dinner and very responsive to my questions. 100% recommend and would definitely stay here again. Car highly recommended.
