My partner and I stayed at Hilary and Peter’s cottage when attending a wedding nearby and we loved it! It’s a beautiful building set in a picturesque village and has been recently renovated to the highest standard. We only met Hilary (and the three dogs!) during our stay and she was the loveliest host who made us feel incredibly welcome and answered all of our questions about the local area to help us settle in as well as having a good old chat. The cottage was also fully stocked with breakfast food, coffee, tea and fresh milk which we really appreciated after an 8 hour drive! We only stayed for a couple of nights but we’ve already decided that we will try and make it back up to the cottage for a longer holiday soon!

Excellent location. Beautiful little cottage studio outfitted with everything you might need. Check in was very easy and Amanda was very responsive. Would certainly stay here again.

Michelle's cabin is a peaceful and cosy spot located in the heart of the highlands - highly recommend as a place to stay whilst exploring Scotland.

When I tell you that this was THE best Airbnb we have ever rented? First let’s start at the neighbourhood,it was so peaceful, safe and the neighbours were polite and friendly! The environment was magical and the view from the glasshouse stood out the most. The bridgeview was visible from the whole upstairs house. The wild animals there made it even more magical, deers were living just behind the house, DOLPHINS AND WHALES were everywhere!Alan was the best!He was waiting for us outside and when we arrived he welcomed us and toured us to the whole house, explained every little detail and helped us get around Edinburgh— saying that the train is close by and the bus etc. the free parking spot was a lifesaver. For us who are smoking it was also one of the best places as it has a bench with the view of the ocean and bridges. Lastly the inside was phenomenal. Big and lovely. Warm and smart. Cozy and comfortable. OH and the bathroom had a ceiling SPEAKER😍. It didn’t had a drawer forclothes th

We had a wonderful stay at Eileen's cosy cottage. It was perfect for our little family and dog. Lots of thoughtful little touches that made our stay so comfortable. The cottage is in a great location and our daughter loved watching the birds in the garden and the lambs on the farm! Eileen was so kind and thoughtful. We highly recommend this stay and hope to return again soon.

The Nook is a fabulous place to stay - it’s private, cozy, bright and well equipped in every way. The beds are super comfortable and really quirky - we LOVED the climb up to the top bunk and the brilliant pull down bed! The views from The Nook over the Forth are spectacular (especially with a cup of tea in bed in the morning!) and its location is perfect for exploring Queensferry, with its quaint cafes, restaurants & harbour. Alison is a lovely host - she was so helpful and accommodating and we loved meeting her husband and the dogs when we arrived. I would highly recommend The Nook - we loved our stay and will definitely be back!

This was our first Airbnb experience and it was excellent. The accommodation was superb with the added bonus of car parking. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel at ease. Holywood is lovely and many good restaurants and cafés with good connections into Belfast if you don't wish to drive . We highly recommend this 👌 for a comfortable place to stay.

A very well designed garage conversion into a fabulous, comfortable studio space. It is situated in Richards garden and is very private and quiet. The studio is spotlessly clean with excellent amenities as described. We loved our stay here and really appreciated the extras provided including a basket of goodies. Richard is very welcoming and very responsive to any queries. Great location for exploring East Lothian.

Absolutely lovely 4 night break in Station Cottage. It was clean, spacious and had everything that we needed for our stay. Mick was very welcoming and fun to chat with. The attention to detail in the cottage is very noticeable. We had wondered whether the proximity to the rail lines would be problematic, but it wasn't at all! We had a very enjoyable stay, would definitely recommend, and if we had the opportunity, we would return. Thank you!

We couldn't recommend the property highly enough. Excellent property in a quiet and private location, the living area is very well designed and facilities contributed to making our stay very comfortable.

Kim met me on arrival. Showed me around and explained everything I needed to know. Ki M was very friendly and polite. Also left me a welcome pack, which I thought was very helpful. It was very kind and thoughtful. I found the guest house very comfortable. Home from home. It was beautiful. Very modern and had little personal touches. Very private and quiet. With beautiful views. Great accommodation for our family of 4 for our 2 night stay in Newcastle. Really different, our teenagers loved it, clean, cosy and lots of fun.

The cabin was perfect and had everything that we needed...no problems at all.

Really enjoyed our stay. The location is peaceful and private, and we loved spotting the new lambs and watching the cows. The caravan is well equipped and spacious. Lots of toys/dvd’s available to keep my 4yr old busy. The play park on the site is also really great, and Monika even offered to provide a bike for the pump track. We visited in April and little train was running from the country park into the town. Will definitely visit again as great central location for visiting family.

Lovely, cosy and spacious chalet for a weekend away. All the amenities you could need to stay for a week or more. Fiona was a great host with clear instructions and quick responses to any messages. Would love to stay again :)

I highly recommend Carmen and John’s Airbnb. Super view, quiet location, well decorated and furnished. It had everything needed. The exceptional cleanliness made me feel comfortable and settled as soon as I walked in. Great selection of local books.

Lovely and peaceful

Maddy was so welcoming and lovely! She made sure I knew where everything was, how things worked and that I had everything I needed. The chalet was immaculately kept and very comfortable. Beautiful location not too far out of town with amazing views and so quiet and peaceful. Throughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend, the place is perfect!

Our second stay and will definitely be coming back. Lodge is very clean, has everything needed for a comfortable stay and the kids love the hot tub. Perfect location- 10 min walk to Penrith town centre and 10 mins drive to A66 and M6. Thanks for another great stay guys!

What an amazing stay! This cozy guest house was absolutely perfect for our time in the Lake District. We particularly appreciated the quiet surroundings and the lovely details that included a very generous and tasty welcome basket. The suite was well appointed with beautiful linens, a hot shower and a very comfortable bed. Alister was very quick to respond to our messages and all of his recommendations were spot on. We especially loved the Buttermere and Ullswater hikes. The only thing we would have changed was to have booked a longer stay. Thanks, Ali, for a fabulous experience!

We had a fab few days at Doireann and Phillips place! Lots of space, everything we needed, great to have 2 en suite bedrooms. The view is incredible, sitting in the garden watching the sunset was amazing! Hosts were really friendly and helpful. The info sent on booking was brilliant. Thank you! A gorgeous place to stay if you like old world charm and character in a peaceful, rural setting. The attention to detail provides for extremely cosy and comfortable accommodation with walks from the doorstep but the convenience of being 5 minutes drive from the lovely town of Moffat. Highly recommend.
