Donna was a great host. We had the best time and felt at home. My husband loved the beds they were so comfortable. We will definitely be back soon.

The site is beautiful. Walking trails and next to the cafe which has amazing food! It’s in the middle of Mena and Waldron so expect to drive 25-30 to town. But if you’re looking for an affordable place thats clean and an amazing host then look no further. There are also nearby ATV and jeep trails. Lots of fishing places and recreation sites in the forest/mountains. And the views!!! Absolutely stunning. We went for a wedding and had 8 people with us. It was an amazing stay!

Absolutely beautiful place. The description of “Granny and Poppas place” was perfect. It’s just like walking into your grandparents and having your every need met. Food in the kitchen. Wood for the fire pit. Absolutely lovely experience.

Bobby is the most sweetest the lady you ever meet. The artist studio, it's truly breathtaking with beautiful art. We'll be there for hours looking at it all. At each time still be memorized by different things, you see highly recommend. best place for healing and tranquility with beautiful surroundings and mountain views. you will truly love it here i give this place a 20 star if they let me. we can't wait to go back.

Bobbie was an amazing hostess! And having access to the lake with boats and life jackets readily available was amazing. we personally chose this place because ot was close to family that we were visiting so we could spend more time with them instead of driving back and forth and it was the perfect location. We had 2 under 2 years old that came with us and with the toys that were there for the kids were such a good variety our kiddos didn't even play with the toys we had brought with us! There was even grill items readily available for us which was awesome! We did not have to get anything other than food! The beds were comfortable and it truly felt like home away from home. We plan on trying to use this location again for future family visits!

We are repeat guests to Sacred Pines but first time guest to the cedar cabin. We truly enjoyed the cabin so much! There is plenty of space to spread out while it is also extremely cozy at the same time. We enjoyed the resources available to cook with, store food, etc. while still having the “cabin in the woods” feel. Our 2 labs joined us this year as well, and we love walking the property each day. The fire pit outside has also become a favorite memory each night. We are grateful for a space to unplug and escape the busy day-to-day life. This space is great for a couple like us but would also be amazing for a few couples to enjoy or even a larger family.

This was an amazing find, the creek was beautiful! The house was clean and well thought out. We enjoyed opening some windows while cooking to hear the sounds of the flowing creek. All the windows were amazing for natural light & scenic views as well as you can sit and watch the cattle out the windows, which we enjoyed. It was all around peaceful and an enjoyable getaway. The host was just as great as the place :)

My husband and I stayed at Mike and Becky's Mountainside Retreat for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. This property fit the bill perfectly! The setting was remote, the view was beautiful and the amenities were comfortable, thoughtful and modern. The firepit area was stocked with wood and fire starters, and we used it both nights! We went to the recommended Rich Mountain Country Store for breakfast - get the pancakes! Queen Wilhelmina State Park was extremely close and had nice hiking trails (some of them are currently closed for maintenance). We HIGHLY recommend staying here for a peaceful retreat!
