Great spot near the center of town and the beach. Loved the location. Beautiful backyard hangout area. The house worked great for our family.

This was our second stay at this wonderful house and we would go again. The house is so wonderfully located with easy walking to the beach and the shops/restaurants. It is a comfortable house for a family.

Kelli's cottage was the perfect home-away-from-home for our family this Spring Break! It can be tough to find a house that checks all the boxes for a baby, a preschooler, and a teenager, but everyone was happy and comfortable here with ample room to spread out. The fireplace was extra cozy and we really appreciated all of the little charms like high chair, pack n play, and loads of kids toys. We also utilized the sand toys and wagon, which saved room in our car not having to bring those! Plenty of kids dishes and cookware for our family meals but also loved being able to walk around the strip for ice cream ;). We had zero issues with the traffic noise, it was actually quite soothing. 5 stars for the cottage and 5 stars for the excellent service!

We had a great stay in Mazanita! Cozy and comfy cottage, super walkable to the beach and close to town for restaurants and shops but quiet neighborhood. House was well equipped and perfect for our group of 6!

Carol was an amazing host, very responsive and offered early check-in! The home was super comfy and housed our 8 woman book club well. Really loved the quiet, the hot tub, and the short walk onto the beach. Would definitely stay again!!

The house was absolutely lovely! Clean and had everything we needed. The street traffic is a little noisy throughout the night and there isn’t an ocean view. But it is only a few minutes walk to the beach and you can still hear the waves from the house. The host is also fantastic! She made sure everything went smoothly for us. Thank you!

The absolute perfect location for a weekend getaway (or longer). Check-in instructions, as well as all of the instructions about the location were super easy to follow and helpful. The house is in the cutest little community, and even though neighbors are relatively close, everyone was super respectful and so nice. It’s a 2 minute walk to the ocean, the outdoor shower and hot tub are a perfect way to relax, and Nathaniel literally thought to provide anything you could possibly need. Looking forward to returning again!

We had a fabulous weekend. Walked to the beach, tide pooled. Enjoyed fun, relaxed family time. The host was always pleasant, responsive and positive. We will go back if given the opportunity in a heartbeat! Thank you for sharing this special retreat.

This was our second trip to The Rocky Whale in the last six months. We love it here. For us, the location is incredible. We spend as much time on the beach possible and being able to cross the street to the dune path and be at the ocean in less than 5 minutes is incredible. Low-tide tide pools? Check. Entire groups of seals? Check. Eagles? Check. Milky Way on a clear night? Also check! We are grateful for the ability to bring our dogs and the big open space downstairs to be able to house their crates. The bed/bath/kitchen has always been clean and comfortable and when the storms come through being able to hang out in the big living space upstairs and keep ourselves entertained (tv… storm… games.. etc) has come in handy. The kitchen is well appointed. We eat in when we stay here and there is nothing we haven’t been able to handle (sometimes a little improvisation is needed!) We were never able to find the tv remote on our second trip… but there is an app for that.

This was an amazing river house. Clean and welcoming, even fresh flowers and a thank you note! The owners go above and beyond to make the stay easy and comfortable. Beautiful view, large yard with room to play. Perfect for families. Had lots of yard/beach toys to use. Home was cozy, comfy and quiet! Kids loved the piano and our pup thoroughly enjoyed the large space outside to hang out. Location was perfect if you want to visit Long Beach , Astoria and Seaside. We will be planning another trip to this home! Highly recommend!

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at the Rockaway Cottage, especially our 2 year old who found the toys, dresses and decor of the home to be so exciting and entertaining! The cottage was clean and comfortable, especially the beds. The location was nice and quiet and the walk to the beach wasn't too bad, even for our toddler to make on her own. We didn't get to use the large deck or fire pit as much as we would have liked, but they were also great additions to the space.

We had such a wonderful stay! We booked last minute and kindel very accommodating to us! It was the perfect space for us and our 3 little ones. They had so much fun in the large open backyard, and they also had games for them to play. Everything we needed was there, and it couldn't have been better. The bay is walkable from the house and manzanita is a 5 min drive with great beach access. We will definitely be back!

A great spot for a getaway birthday stay. It’s been several years since I’ve been back to Seaside and I’m glad to have visited again! Highly recommend this place and I plan to come back. Love that it’s dog friendly too!

This cottage perfectly fit our needs - just to be able to gaze into space and watch the skies and the water. We walked during the low tide twice a day, which was really special. We appreciated that Jeff and Traci provided binos so that we could make out the ships and boats going through the river. Fascinating history of the town as far as the salmon industry and the cannery there. The location was condusive to our exploration of both the Oregon and WA coasts.

We needed a last minute place to stay and were thankful that we found a place with a washer and dryer. Had a lovely stay!

A fantastic stay for a trip to the coast! More secluded location, but still minutes from the beach made for a very peaceful stay. Wonderful spot for a stay with kids ir dogs. Note that there is actually MORE space than is shown in the listing.

Amazing place to stay. Very cozy and incredible views with easy beach access. Pet friendly place, so a corner of the couch smelled a bit like dog, but otherwise immaculate. Doug is a wonderful host.

A great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Enjoyed a cozy fire after a day of fishing. Will be back

What a great find in Manzanita! Although we never walked to the beach (easily could have) it was such a short drive we made several daily trips to get our ocean air fix! The bed was comfortable and cozy, (we didn’t use the upstairs area, but such a great space if you have kids!), we absolutely loved the shower head in the main bathroom off the laundry room, thought it was so great to have access to laundry before we headed home, and it had everything we needed in the kitchen to make wonderful meals. We were only there for a few days, and had so much to explore while we were there, that we didn’t get to use the outdoor spaces but it looked perfect for outdoor dining and making s’mores by he fire. Highly recommend- it’s a gorgeous stop along highway 101, Manzanita is an adorable town, and Robert & Nicole’s cabin is wonderful place to enjoy it all from!

Nancy’s offered space was lovely, cozy, and clean. The location with a big picture window overlooking the river was perfect. Watching the tide change, listening to the wind and the rain, and letting our dog run on the beach were highlights. We want to return to experience it in Summer to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and two small decks with chairs. Sunsets on clear days must be spectacular!

Awesome awesome place, wish we could have stayed longer, super cute little dining cubby off the kitchen, pleasant gas fireplace, everything super well labeled and organized. If I ever get to settle down in a beach down I hope my place looks exactly like this
