Halfmoon bay is a beautiful area, and this lovely family home has lots to offer. We enjoyed our stay and had lots of fun. We enjoyed our walks to the beach during the day and playing board games at nights. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time. Doreen and Doug were extremely responsive and helpful even when the power unexpectedly went out during a storm. We would definitely come back the next time we are in Sechelt.

What a spectacular place to stay! We prefer quite nature infused lodging, so this mountain top apartment was a dream come true. The views are more spectacular than on the photos and the place is cozy enough for two. Ian and co have been very friendly, helpful and responsive. Consider yourself chosen, if you have the luck to stay here.

Beautiful, convenient and cozy space. Check-in was easy and Catherine answered questions quickly. Would highly recommend for folks looking for a quiet spot in walking distance of Snug Cove. There are heaters in the room, but we did not need these on a cool spring night - the cabin stayed very warm. We loved the added fun of a fire pit!

We had an awesome stay at Doreen's. The view is amazing and she went out of her way to make sure our family was comfortable. Thank you!

James was a great host! Their location is walking distance from loads of trails and the coast. We visited on a rainy weekend and found the space to be super cozy to hang out and play games and music (we enjoyed the novelty of the records and playing the accordion and guitar). When the rain cleared we went for a beautiful long hike just outside their door. They were super warm and welcoming hosts and we loved getting to chat when we crossed paths but still felt a sense of total privacy in the suite. Would absolutely recommend the suite for anyone making a trip out to the sunshine coast. It was perfect for a winter getaway and I imagine even better in the summer with loads to do.

I had an amazing stay. Was only a few steps from the beautiful very quiet beach. Julie and her husband were lovely and very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be returning:)

This was the perfect spot for me and my family to stay for a few days away in the new year. We were a full house of 5 and a dog but there was enough space, a lot of unique and wonderful amenities that made it extra special ( like the bathtub and sauna!) and it was a beautiful house. Clean and modern mixed with a cabin feel. We all loved it. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and it was the perfect place for us to unwind as a family after Christmas!

great overall. john was very friendly and caring. he came and helped us right way when Netflix did not work and then stayed and chatted with us. we had everything we needed. Just one thing for me would be a softer mattress or topper. great location and private. we enjoyed our stay.

Aileen was very helpful and accommodating, letting me keep my bag at the accommodation until I could pick it up after my course. Very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and quiet, with a lovely view of the ocean!

The Island Forest Retreat was so lovely. It was cozy and comfortable, in the trees-peaceful and so quiet. It had everything we needed for our stay and was a quick drive into Snug Harbour. The hosts stocked the kitchen with some breakfast supplies, which was so kind and Jennifer's warm treats in the morning were so good. I would totally recommend this place and would love to stay again.

Janice and Bill's place, the Hi N Dri, was absolutely gorgeous and cozy. It was so thoughtfully stocked and beautifully decorated, with attention to every detail. Everything was immaculate. We had a wonderfully relaxing family getaway there, visiting the local beach every evening to watch the sunset. Janice and Bill were responsive and attentive, even putting our wet beach shoes onto a drying shelf for us while we were out!

Candice's place is exactly as described and was a wonderful place to stay! I spent 3 days on Bowen with my 3 boys and we loved exploring, hiking, etc and this was the perfect place to stay. She was quick to answer questions, checked in with us the evening we arrived, and the whole experience was great. And the views!!!! I would definitely recommend Candice and her home!

This place was great. My girlfriend and I felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The place is a 10 minute drive to anything so it feels very central. The place had trivia and card games which was a nice surprise. In addition, the was very clean and we slept so well.

We very much enjoyed our visit. Quiet location with great view of ocean. A couple of good restaurants close by and lots of trails and parks within easy drive. Marion and Fred were great hosts. Suite was well equipped and very comfortable. We will definitely return.

Margit was extremely friendly and responsive, providing us with good recommendations for places to visit in Bowen. Her place is very charming and has a gorgeous view from the balcony. Thank you for having us!

Lise was a great host and the Red Barn was fantastic! So peaceful and beautiful. Easy to relax, but also plenty to do on Bowen Island if you feel like being more active. Would definitely come back again!

The suite is very bright, tidy, and clean. There’s many kitchen supplies, cooking oil!, and we found the bed and duvet very comfortable. There’s a bus that goes to gibsons nearby and only a 3 min drive. The place is in a very quiet neighborhood and surrounded by trees. Would recommend!

I've stayed twice at Christine's Cabana and would love to stay again in the future. Christine is such a caring and helpful host, always there for any needs or doubts one might have. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful trees. If you have a car, there's always parking space on the street. If not, public transport is only two blocks away with easy connections in and out the city. 41st Avenue is just walking distance with nice restaurants and shops. The Cabana was spotless clean and very well equipped. Everything is new and appliances are high quality (big fridge, good microwave, washer, dryer, etc). Lots of closet space ... and hangers! Bed and pillows very comfortable. Really nice shower. The light is beautiful due to the large window-doors that face the garden. So peaceful that it even makes home office almost a pleasure. Highly recommend! Thank you!

Le logement est encore mieux que sur les photos. Le lit est très comfortable, la salle de bain très prorpre et la cuisine fonctionnelle. Que dire du balcon pour la vue et le bain de soleil! Le guide laissé par Maret fût très utile. Nous avons apprécié les recommandations pour les restaurants. Il y a une diversité de restaurants, boutiques et épicerie près. Le trajet pour visiter vancouver ou les parcs se fait facilement. J'ai aussi trouvé le quartier sécuritaire et la vue magnifique pour mon jogging matinale. Tout est pensé pour un séjour parfait. Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour ce magnifique séjour. Nous reviendrons définitivement à notre prochaine visite!

We had an amazing stay while in Nanaimo this week. Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated. It felt like we were in the country and had complete privacy. It was very close to the fairy and all the things we wanted to see and do. The only downside is that it isn't big enough to bring our family back with us! Great stay, will definitely be back

Mike and Dilla:s place was perfect for our adventure to Halfmoon Bay. It's a beautifully updated cabin with everything you could ask for. Spotless private setting with a welcoming vibe. We'll be back.
