The Harbinson Homestead

This cozy log-cabin was built by hand in 1929 and remains a living work of art. Located in the rolling hills of Homer, just 20 min. from Downtown, this stunning old homestead offers an authentic Alaskan experience with mountain views! Accommodations: 3 beds (1 Queen, 2 Twins), a full kitchen w/running water, modern Toyo heater and wood stove, a tidy outhouse, and a genuine Nordic Spa (sauna/coldplunge). Waterfront Apartment NEWLY REMODELED (Next door to the Seldovia Boardwalk Hotel) with 1 bedroom with 1 queen bed and a queen murphy bed in the outer room. It offers a full kitchen, bathroom, dining area, a couple of sleeping mats for children, outdoor covered patio with seating and BBQ. This duplex property offers larger families a place to spread out and have a private relaxing time on the waterfront patio overlooking the boat harbor. This suite is located on the bottom floor.

Surf Shack on Hesketh Island

Sleep to the sound of the sea! The Surf Shack on Hesketh Island is perfect for a small family or a couple and is glamping at its finest. It sits in the trees, 30 feet from the beach, overlooking the water and Yukon Island. This is a remote island property and can only be accessed by boat. We provide water taxi transport with True North Kayak Adventures. Pricing is $85/adult and $75/12 and under, round trip. Kayak and SUP trips are also available as well as rentals.

The Cowboy Cabin

This simple, charming cabin sits atop a green (or white or brown) pasture overlooking Kachemak Bay and two spoiled horses. It has a quiet “out of town” feel, yet, the Spit and downtown homer are only an 8-12 minute drive away. You might find fresh eggs from our hens in the refrigerator if they are producing well! It includes one comfy queen bed, full bathroom with laundry, and a small but capable kitchen. Longer stays here are economical and comftorable.
