Great respectful staff. The owner came personally to great us and make sure we are enjoying our stay. The restaurant on premise was great. They helped me do laundry, rent a scooter, and get a driver to my next destination. Yes this place is private and seems far from action but that's the point and why we liked it. The staff will always make sure you have everything you need. Highly recommended

One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed EVER. We really splurged on this for 1 night, and wished we could have stayed longer. The view was amazing, the bed was comfortable, the living room felt cozy. The place was so unique, we loved the little stream and trickling water inside, as well as the pool outside. The shower was so cool! We ordered massages right in the room which was a nice bonus and super affordable. I will be talking about this place for a long time to all my friends and would recommend this to anyone staying in Bali!

We spent two amazing days here, and we only wish we could have stayed longer! The villa was spotless, with every detail carefully prepared for our arrival. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom was simply stunning, featuring a huge bathtub perfect for relaxing after a long day. Hot water was always available, which isn’t always a given in every place. The highlight of our stay was definitely the pool on the terrace with breathtaking views of the rice fields – an absolute paradise for the eyes and soul. The host was exceptionally kind, always helpful, and ensured that our stay was as comfortable as possible. This place is the definition of luxury and tranquility – perfect for relaxation and escaping everyday life. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

Definitely worth every penny! It's exactly how it is in the picture. I enjoyed my solo time here, the breakfast was delicious. Putu and Ami were very helpful especially Puttu, she's attentive and made my floating breakfast extra pretty, and she helped me with my luggages going up the stairs, no complains, always smiling. It's actually very nice for couples too. the aircon is just a bit noisy at night. But I will definitely consider booking again when I come back to bali. it's just 20mins motorbike ride to Ubud proper, peaceful plus near the rice terraces, silver making class, aloha jungle swing, etc.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben – sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die liebevollen Details und die herzliche Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber, der uns jederzeit mit Tipps und Empfehlungen unterstützt hat. Man spürt einfach, dass hier viel Herzblut drinsteckt. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Eine klare 5-Sterne-Empfehlung!

Dewi's place is a gem! Very cute small house but with everything you may need. You have a beautiful view over the rice fields. Be prepared to hear the sounds of nature but this is much better than to hear noise from a bar until midnight in Ubud central area. Dewi has put her heart and soul in this cozy place. She is the host of extraordinary kindness and hospitality! She is someone you would like to be friends with or a member of the family :)

Gerne wieder! Es war ein einzigartiges Erlebnis. Äußerst freundliche und zuvorkommende Menschen dort. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Everything was really nice - kind host people, beautiful surroundings with rice fields and jungle, cleaning every day :) But there was just one thing - no one told us about 2 running constructions around the accommodation. But still I would recommend this accommodation for everyone :) These reconstructions will be done in about 1-2 months I would say so after that everything will be again 10/10!

Super séjour ! Je recommande ! Excentré donc il faut soit un scooter soit réserver des taxis pour bouger mais c’est ce qui rend aussi le logement très agréable par sa privacite. Les seuls bruits sont ceux des animaux. Le logement est magnifique et la piscine un vrai +

I stayed at the cottage for 4 nights! Its location is in the middle of nowhere, it's in the forest near the Jattiluwih and Babahan rice fields.We walked to them for about an hour, practically among them. At a distance of 30 minutes on foot is the Besikaluna Waterfall, which is sacred, beautiful, there was not a single tourist. It's a magical place in the middle of nature, you can only hear the voice of the forest, the crickets. It's an indescribable silence, it's only for those who want to break contact with other people, you can meet only a few locals because it's far from the village. We didn't find any tourists and we liked that. In the cottage there were squirrels, lizards and other animals, which is normal being an open plan. We fell in love, it's paradise! You need a car or a scooter to go somewhere else,we just stayed there and walked around nearby sights. It was magical!the staff was helpful, They cleaned our room daily and were nice. There is a warung 3 minutes away.Thank you!

Second time in Bali, decided to do Nusa on the second trip. Felt right at home during check in. We were welcome with a nice glasses of freshly squeezed juice. Place was extra clean, lots of natural greens, trimmed, aesthetically pleasing for the eye, not to mention the room smelled amazing everytime they cleaned it. Pool temperature is just right. Breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely recommend! Wayan & Putu(s) were great with us and all guest!

Putu was a gracious, helpful and perfect host. We spent a magical week immersed in the beauty of Bali’s natural world, green in every direction. On the property are massive trees and rice fields. A crystal clear stream runs along the border. The house itself had everything we needed. We’ll return for sure. Thank you Putu for always checking to see if we needed anything.

Love to stay there with my husband, we enjoy the view and we love their dog so much, I will always miss you Bella 😍 eventhough without aircon is still fine and I can use the kitchen for cooking.

Dit is werkelijkwaar een prachtig paradijsje! Rustige gelegen en tot in de details uitgewerkte stijlvolle bungalows!!! Wij zijn hier onze 4 weken Bali-reis begonnen om even te acclimatiseren maar willen hier eigenlijk niet meer weg! De eigenaren zijn enorm gastvrij, makkelijk in de omgang en zeer vriendelijk! De manager Didit is een geweldige prettige en hulpvaardige host! We komen hier met liefde weer terug. Alle dank voor dit geweldige verblijf!

The authentic Bali experience in a beautiful setting and a peaceful environment. Here you have both a private space along with being part of the homestead. There are many places to explore/be even within his property. Many places to eat, a meditation nook & a swing* overlooking rice fields & a river the enjoy. One waterfall is only a 10min leisurely walk away, it’s a gem. When I first arrived I felt at ease and excited actually as he shared menues for -activities he guides -spa treatments on site (amazing & a must-enjoy!) -meals by his lovely wife and -access to a driver whom is a family member. Honestly I had to stay longer as I love his peaceful home with many conveniences (bonus’s) and the amazing experiences (Temples, Purification Ceremony, Bali New Years, Waterfalls, Rice Fields, Hinduism & other Conversations etc!) Absolutely amazing hosts - the entire family is involved in caring for your visit here. It’ll be hard to leave but I am grateful to have been. :)

Better than expected! The pool was lovely and the bed very comfortable. The only small issue was the lack of a curtain on the window facing the bed, but overall it was great value and we’d stay again.

We had a wonderful time at Erna’s place. The Airbnb is beautiful and surrounded by a lovely, well-kept garden. Breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared. We traveled with our baby, and Erna and her husband were very friendly and supportive from the very beginning. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the beach, and there are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. Thank you for the amazing stay! We would love to come back :)

Medewi is a great town if you like or want to try surfing, very relaxing and not very expensive. The host was very kind and full of useful advice, was always smiling. Bungalow was nice, even equipped with a fridge. It was very private, and the pool was very relaxing. I am sure that we will one day go back there, and regret that we only stayed for a few days.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Check in was super easy and we got a welcome drink. They also offer lots of different services that we ended up taking advantage of because our trip had some last minute changes. After we checked in around 2pm we inquired about their taxi service. We were able to quickly get a driver who was able to take us to see kelingking beach, broken beach and angels billabong. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and also took great pictures of us lol. We were able to just walk to the Main Street where all the restaurants are and grabbed dinner. Walked around a little bit and then back. It does get really dark on the walk back but we never felt like we were in danger or anything. The morning of checkout it was nice just chilling in the pool. This place really is so relaxing and would definitely recommend staying here!

Masa inap yang luar biasa. Anak anak sangat menikmatinya. Kami seperti berlibur tapi juga seperti di rumah sendiri. Setiap hari dapat pergi ke pantai dan dengan harga yang demikian itu sangat berhemat. Ke ramah tamahan luar biasa. Kami datang tidak dengan kendaraan, rekan tuan rumah pak Nyoman dan bu Nyoman sangat membantu, begitu juga dengan kk Alex, sedikit malu karena kami terlalu banyak dibantu bahkan kami meminjam scooter. Itu luar biasa . Terimakasih Malaya Cabanas, kami pasti ingin kembali

L'emplacement est magnifique, le mieux est d'arrivé en journée afin d'observer le paysage. Amateur de nature cette endroit est fait pour vous. Nous ne sommes pas rester assez longtemps pour pouvoir en profiter. Dina et son mari sont adorables, serviable et arrangeant. Un grand merci pour leurs bel accueil !

Een hele fijne 4 dagen gehad in deze accommodatie. Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. De accommodatie is goed onderhouden en de hosts reageren snel als je ze nodig hebt. Er waren ook twee hele lieve katten die ons verblijf nog gezelliger hebben gemaakt!! Wij raden het zeker aan :)

We could not have been happier with our stay at Firefly Joglo. It is beautiful and peaceful, and a lovely walk up from town with lots of great food and gorgeous views on the way. Kristine and everyone made us feel really welcome, and helped us with travel arrangements and anything we needed advice about. We’ll definitely be back!
