Welcome to Marama Cottage on Two Moons Farm! We are currently working on turning our lifestyle block into a productive small scale organic farm. We can’t wait to share our little slice of paradise! Meet our animals, enjoy our gardens and all that Christchurch and the surrounding area has to offer. We are centrally located just 15 mins from the CBD but our place feels a world away and is a great retreat! Cozy up to an outdoor fire after a day of skiing or fishing or tramping or sightseeing!

Number 8 - Castle Hill Village

Number 8 is aptly named. It’s resourceful design and interiors reflect all that you require to give you the best possible modern but true kiwi bach experience whilst staying in Castlehill village winter or summer. The Castlehill Basin provides amazing skiing, biking, walking, fishing, bouldering and rock climbing. 1 hour drive from Christchurch and you will find yourself immersed in an Alpine Mountain environment. Enjoy a good book, jigsaw or board game by the fire or get out amongst it!

Alaska Farmhouse Methven

Alaska Farmhouse Methven just a short 5-minute drive from Methven township. This wonderful home offers a front-row seat to the majestic Southern Alps and Mount Hutt, providing a breathtaking backdrop to your stay. The house features two queen rooms, a bunk room that sleeps four. The stunning country kitchen, central heating, log burner, and open fire create a cozy ambiance for your relaxation. Outside, guests can gather around the magnificent open fire or enjoy a game of pool in the games room.

Southfork B - Aspen Chic meets Methven Cabin

We have recently renovated Southfork B with all the comforts of home to make your stay in Methven a great one. It sits behind Southfork A which has been a wonderful Airbnb for 3 years now. Southfork is situated on the fringe of the township and just a short stroll to the Brown and Blue Pubs along with some lovely cafes and restaurants. We have tried to think of everything to make your stay comfortable; it's cosy and warm, we have Starlink internet and most importantly a Nespresso machine.

Travellers Oasis

Relax & unwind at this unique and rustic getaway. This stand alone cottage which is centrally located in Rolleston, is an ideal place to stopover between the bottom and top of the South Island or a couple wanting to see the sights of Selwyn. The cottage has a self contained kitchenette, separate bathroom, shower, toilet, wood burner, heater, heated towel rail. Private courtyard with laziboy chairs, breakfast area in/outside, Bbq and French doors opening up to a lovely pond with trout

This historic home is super close to town, making it easy to plan your visit. A superb Cape Cod home designed by famous local architect Billy Thomas. Originally his own home this property is a truly unique stay! Full catering available by request. Recently renovated, bathrooms have undertile heating. There is a gas fire and a log fire for the cooler months plus heat pumps. Enjoy a continental breakfast with homemade goodies. Ashely and Co products.

Te Waihora Lodge, Lake Ellesmere, Christchurch

Te Waihora Lodge is a lovely farmstead accomodation, Sheep and the Turkeys all residing on 20 arce's of Lakeside Beauty. Leeston town is only 6km away with local Pubs, Cafes, Restaurants and Markets to fulfil the needs. Picturesque Lake Ellesmere is across the road, with 50,000 birds at last count making it a bird watchers haven. Sitting in the Spa Pool watching the clear night sky and the thousands of Stars is always my highlight.

Spacious Sunny Cottage Close to Airport

The cottage is currently set up as a queen bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds. Any changes to this configuration can be negotiated to meet guests needs. Perfect for couple's, families or friends. Also set up for disability access into the house and all floors are one level. Grab rails etc in bathroom. Close to the University of Canterbury. The property is shared with the owners who live in the front house.

Country Paradise

A standalone self-contained living area with ample parking on our shared family property. Close enough to the city, mountains, river and sea. Mandaville shops a short 4 minute drive with a Supervalue (Mon-Sun, 7am-8pm), Fish & Chips, Thai, Indian, and Restaurant/Bar.
