This property is beautiful and was home away from home. Spacious and scenic. The host, Justin, what’s easy to communicate with? I highly recommend this place.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Andrea and Scott's farm. We spent the whole time playing in the yard, enjoying the animals, and feeling at home inside. I personally found sitting in the screened-in front porch to be really relaxing. We truly appreciated how Andrea and Scott educated our family about life on the farm. They graciously allowed us to join in on feeding the animals during an otherwise busy weekend for them, which we appreciated because that was a big part of our reason for choosing their farm. It was precious for the children to collect eggs after meeting the hens. Inside, we thanked our new hen friends for the eggs we ate. Our family has lots of new, fun memories from our weekend at Andrea and Scott's place.

Such a beautiful location! It just felt so serene and cozy, my kids loved the animals and it just felt like home, if our home was an awesome barn on acres of beautiful farm land. We will be back!

Wonderful location just minutes from restaurants. Also, easy access to I-185. Nicely equipped cottage on a beautiful lot. Quiet. If you like animals there is a very friendly cat that will hang out with you and a horse pastured right by the driveway that likes apples and carrots. Dianna is very friendly and responsive. We stayed for eight nights and we don't have a single complaint. If we visit the area again I would not hesitate to stay here again. If you like baseball the cottage is an easy twenty minute drive from the Clingstones parking lot.

very unique guest house that is beautifully decorated and all modern amenities. I love the mix of old and new -- it was so comfy! Reading the news articles of the dairy and other framed memorabilia -- it was like a time capsule and very interesting. This place has great history and was great to see it preserved so well. Highly recommend!

Pamela’s cottage was perfect! I’m often in the Grandview/Maypearl/Covington area for short little trips. Now that I bring my Golden Retriever with me, it has been difficult to find places that are convenient and affordable. Pamela’s is everything and then some! If anything, Pamela undersells how amazing the place is. The cottage itself is super clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfy, the hot water worked great, and I could let my dog sniff around without fear of her picking something up off the ground because of how clean it was. The directions and instructions to get there and enter were very clearly communicated. And the surrounding land they have is beautiful. Sadie and I loved our stay and will definitely book again soon!

An unforgettable weekend escape! The Cabin at Fossil Tree Farm is a hidden gem tucked away in the peaceful countryside of Madisonville. From the moment we arrived, Marguerite made us feel like family—she’s incredibly sweet, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about her land and animals. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with rolling pastures, a serene atmosphere, and stunning scenery that instantly melts away the stress of everyday life. Oreo, her lovable dog, greeted us with butt wags and cuddles, quickly becoming one of the highlights of our stay. The farm animals were all super friendly, well-cared for, and added so much charm to the experience. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the porch or strolling through the property, every moment felt like a peaceful escape from reality. We left feeling refreshed and grateful—and we’ll definitely be back.

Such a beautiful place to stay, and our hosts were amazing in every way, would recommend this airbnb to anyone. Great people to stay with, so accommodating and just make you feel right at home, we had a short stay but will definitely be back in the future for extended stays. God Bless!

This AirBNB is a PERFECT mix of country on the inside and outside! The back patio was a perfect place to sit, relax, enjoy sunsets and sunrises! We got the pleasure of a symphony of frogs after the heavy spring rain this past week- wow that was incredible! I’ve stayed in many ‘country’ rentals and it’s hard to keep the outside from getting inside (bugs, dirt, etc.) BUT this place did not have any of those problems! A couple reviews noted the stairs as a problem but we did not agree with that- you do have to climb stairs to get to the main area but the patio is completely enclosed and safe for pets and littles!

Had a wonderful stay at the Farm wirh a beautiful view, a comfy porch, and cute friendly animals! Kevin was also fantastic, even going so far as to go out and buy a new crock pot for us!

Our visit to Melissa’s place never disappoints us! Our family loves our stay here! The grandchildren have fond memories of their time here and they look forward to our next visit! The farm is beautiful and we all enjoy the opportunity to feed the animals. In particular, the children love playing with the dogs! Thank you Melissa for all you do to make our stay memorable! PS. We had a bonus during our stay! We met your son and daughter in law and enjoyed sharing some time with them!

Joe and his wife were the definition of southern hospitality. Very respectful and helpful always answered the phone when I texted or called and was sure to ask if there was anything we needed help with. Loved our stay beautiful home.

Tucked away but close to the highway. A great place to stay for the night as the bed was comfortable and the farm sounds in the morning were a pleasant wake-up call.

When I initially booked the reservation for Michelle’s home, I wanted to find something within the area of Fouke versus driving to Texarkana. We were attending a Bigfoot festival in the area. Michelle’s home was perfect in so many ways. It was within a few miles of where the activities were going on. The home was in the country, peaceful, quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the sunshine in the swing and rocking chair. The inside of the farm house had been completely remodeled and was very comfortable and clean. Michelle allowed us to check in a couple of hours earlier and drop off our things as well. We appreciated having a washer and dryer during our stay. The bonus for us that we later learned was that the location of the farmhouse happened to be not far from where many of the scenes from the 1972 Legend of Boggy Creek was filmed. This home was perfect and if we are able to come back to the area again we would definitely stay with Michelle!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Annette's place. It was a short drive to Austin, many hikes, and great food options. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants some peace and quiet outside of Austin with the added bonus of visiting with all of the animals on the farm. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Austin area.

Lydia place was perfect for our short stay. Had all the amenities a d necessity that a family of 4 need . My girls enjoyed the surrounding, putting the goats, chicken and dog. Lydia was an excellent host

This place was so relaxing and was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. We enjoyed the peace of being out away from the hustle of downtown but it is still very easy and convenient to get into town as well. Everything was perfect. The house is very inviting and beautiful. We spent alot of time outside on the back porch. We loved interacting with the animals and Vanessa was very communicative and reached out to us several times to make sure all was well. We will definitely be back, was a great experience that we enjoyed very much and we can't wait to come back.

Such a peaceful space with the friendliest cows EVER! :) Beautiful setting - and such a great step-away from the big city... with only sounds of mother nature. I spent a peaceful afternoon on the patio and cherished visits from beautiful cardinals, hummingbirds, and countless other beauties. The cabin is pristine, not a bug in sight, which is hard to pull off in the country, the strong scent of mothballs may be keeping them at bay. I enjoyed this place so much and was not ready to leave.

We could not have asked for a better getaway for our family! Amy is a thoughtful and responsive host, and we loved the farmhouse. The space is both cozy and spacious, as well as very comfortable, and perfect for us to slow down and enjoy being out in the country. We had fun exploring around Rusk and then relaxing at the farmhouse. We would love to come back again in the future!

Dalton’s property is a gem. It was the most picturesque cottage just like in the pictures and has the surroundings. We enjoyed biking and saying hello to the horses on the nearby farm, watching cows graze lazily and laughing with the energetic dog who was eager to match our pace from the other side of a neighboring fence. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable and the decor was gracefully done. One thing to note is there is no central heating here. We loved the proximity to the gulf coast and enjoyed beach hopping from biloxi to Bay st Louis. New Orleans was just over an hour away and the nearest beach was just a little over 20 minutes away. The restaurants in biloxi, Diamondhead and Bay st Louis deserve special mention. We did have a small leak in the faucet during our stay but Dalton came and fixed it as soon as he could. Overall I think this is a fantastic location and Dalton has done a great job making it a special place to create memories.

Cute farm house. The beds were very comfortable and it had all the cooking utensils, pots and pans needed for making breakfast. We fed the horses and our dogs enjoyed running around and exploring the grounds. Stephen was very responsive and came by to say hi to us as we arrived from running an errand. Cute, clean and comfortable. I would stay here again if its available when I return to the area

Amazingly helpful. We were in Lagrange for MS 150 ride. Out hosts went way way beyond to help us with the MS 150 ride. We appreciated their hospitality and hope we might be able to reciprocate one day!
