As a former boy scout roughing it in the bunkhouse I felt right at home. Akin to cabin camping for us. I collected some dead branches and sat out by the fire for a few hours while I cooked a meal w/ a cast iron skillet. Had a horse walk right up to me as I was sitting by the fire and a cow later on as well. What an awesome experience. Animals are friendly they just wanted to eat. Hope I get the opportunity to drive back out this way, great for an overnight.

Lana's ranch was peaceful, quiet and beautiful. We stayed in the cabin, which was rustic as described, but clean and comfortable. While we were not there long enough to sample the meat sold there, we did meet the various cows, horses and dogs. If you are looking for a unique off-the-beaten-path location, this is a gem.

These cabins were the perfect spot for us to come stay and be close to family we were visiting!! The cabins were very clean and well stocked with supplies! We enjoyed the views and wildlife! We would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back for our next visit to see family!

Our group of four gals had such a great 3-day stay! We were looking for rustic beauty and that’s what we experienced in the barn house—-barn sights, sounds, scents, and vibe included—-perfect and unique!! Especially enjoyed sitting on the porches in the morning and evening to view the sunrise, stars, and lightning show in the distance. We woke to the crow of roosters, hiked the draw and mesa, rode horses, and rested comfortably inside too. Lana even brought freshly gathered eggs by for us! We would stay again and might check out the camping or cabins too. Kitchen was stocked for all our cooking needs and the leather couches and chair in the living room were great. Renters might want to know that both bedrooms and an half bathroom are on the second level and the stairs have no rail ( not an issue for us but could be for those with mobility limitations).

Lana's place was perfect; it was just what we needed for a quick overnight stay while traveling through the Panhandle. Lana was very responsive and did a great job describing how to get into the ranch. We arrived after dark and had no problem finding our way after following her instructions. The campsite was great, we felt very safe and secluded. We even had a quick campfire before bed. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting Lana but hope to be back to visit the Farm Store on our next drive through. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy and safe place to spend the night!
