The view of the Castle is stunning--I would say magical--and though the apartments are located in a very busy tourist area, they feel like an oasis of calm. Lynne was extremely helpful and accommodating in all ways.

We absolutely loved our say at Susie and Amit’s apartment. Not only did their lovely space make us feel right at home but they did so much to make us feel welcome and are extremely generous hosts. The flat was spacious, clean and comfortable and was a space where we loved spending time throughout the day. The flat came with an incredible view of the city, and was so convenient as it’s right in the heart of the old town. We have stayed in Edinburgh many times and thanks to Susie and Amit’s amazing hospitality, this was easily the best experience we have had in the city. Thank you both so much for such a wonderful stay!

Perfect accommodations and location for five of us to explore the neighborhood that my grandmother lived in until she was 9 years old. We managed to get around Edinburgh easily with very responsive Ubers. Groceries were within a 10 min walk.

We had a wonderful stay in Edinburgh! The location is great and walkable, with many restaurants, pubs, and parks nearby. Eddie was responsive, friendly, and gave us local recommendations. We loved it!

Gertrud is a great host, the property is as described, no nasty surprises. The beds are warm and comfy, the kitchen is super well equipped, and the kids even found spades and buckets for the beach. All in all a great stay, highly recommended for the warmer months as the beach is only 10/15 minutes away, nice sandy beach. Good frequency of trains to Edinburgh too. It is a beautiful well kept village.

An obvious 5* rating, would have gone higher! The flat was meticulous; beautifully decorated, very clean, well furnished, comfortable beds, large shower, and a kitchen with all the amenities plus welcome food! We loved our stay here and will try hard to return. The location is perfect for restaurants, buses and walking to all Edinburgh has to offer. As two women on holidays it was a very safe neighbourhood and Ubers always arrived within 1 minute. We spent plenty of time in the living room with the two large windows overlooking a park and letting the sunshine stream in - it was beautiful. I love Edinburgh and now I love this place. You won't regret staying here.

We cannot speak highly enough about our experience . Lynne was a responsive and helpful host. The apartment surpassed our expectations. It was spotlessly clean and had every amenity one would want in a holiday apartment. It was exquisitely decorated and felt more like a home than a holiday let. The location was central and in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle. It was peaceful and yet , within walking distance of shops, restaurants and of course, the Castle itself. We had an incident with a leaking pen and mortified when ink seeped into the bedsheet. Lynne was sympathetic and understanding . Her reaction was both unexpected and very welcome!

Loved this spot!! Super cozy and chill, the large living room was perfect. We did forget about the 4 floors of stairs we needed to take up, and we heard some late night parties going home pretty clearly through the window facing the street. Overall a really great stay!

Fiona’s place is perfect to feel local in Edinburgh. The restaurants around her we nice and we loved the breakfast at Cherry Cafe Was a beautiful easy walk to the royal mile also

We had a wonderful stay! The bedroom had a fabulous view of Edinburgh Castle. Everything was super clean and the apartment is beautiful, very comfortable, and very well laid out and equipped. We traveled with an infant and the host put a cot in our room, which was so convenient. The location is amazing. Check-in was effortless. The host is super responsive and proactive. We had the best time overall! Thank you for making us feel welcome!

Angus’ place was absolutely lovely. Lots of space, clean, beautiful kitchen and bathroom and comfortable bed and sofa. Location is spectacular with just a 7-10 minutes walk to the main city centre and Waverley Station. Loads of bars and restaurants right at your doorstep. Unbeatable. The only thing I would mention is that the stairwell up to the flat is quite dark, some steps are uneven and steep. Nothing be alarmed about but it is worth keeping in mind.

It was a pleasant apartment, it was fully equipped. Center within walking distance, just keep in mind it is a lot of uphill walking. Less than 1 minute away there is a supermarket. The host was also always quick to respond. Definitely highly recommended!

Eddie our host went above and beyond. He welcomed us on arrival, showed us where to park our car (no cost), & gave us a comprehensive rundown of everything we needed to know including how everything operated in the apartment. He even assisted with our luggage! The apartment is exactly as it sounds, there is a lot of space & everything was spotless & clean. The location is perfect to visit the Royal Mile & to walk up to Edinburgh Castle. Eddie even provided some food supplies. He gets 5 stars in our opinion & we highly recommend this one to all.

This is a very well appointed apartment on the fourth floor with an impressive balcony looking at the port of Edinburgh and the Firth of Forth.

What can I say, we found a gem and that was Matt! He is the perfect host, wonderful warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble, he is passionate about where he lives and local knowledge is perfect for those who are new to the area. His accommodation is stunning, his passion for renovating the property to be as authentic as possible shines through, it was beautiful. The garden is just stunning! The accommodation is near all the amenities, beautiful park nearby, quiet and extremely comfortable. I can highly recommend staying and we will definitely return!

We had a fantastic stay at Martin and Charul's apartment and would definitely stay there again! From the moment of booking to departure communication was flawless and we felt very welcome. The apartment was clean, decorated beautifully and we had everything that we could have needed. The apartment is well situated and only a short walk to princes street and Edinburgh Waverley so the perfect location to explore the city.

Great Central position just off the Royal Mile. Lovely little flat. Just be aware it's three stories up, but will keep you fit.

Very close to a lot of restaurants. Close to the places we wan to go even the castle. We had a great.

We had a great stay at Maggie's place. The house was very cozy, neat and clean. The bathrooms, kitchen, utensils, bed sheets, towels, etc were all very clean. There was lots of stuff for the childrens to enjoy in Maggie's place. The house was loaded with all the modern amenities. There was not a single thing in the house which was non functional. The host was very prompt in responding to any query we had. To add, the locality is very peaceful. If I happen to come again, I would love to stay in Maggie's place. Not to forget the wonderful drinks, beverages, snacks, etc Maggie kept f to welcome her guests.
