On it’s doorstep are; Dragon’s Back Ridge, Chrome Hill, Axe Edge Moor and Buxton. We are only 30 minutes from Mam Tor, Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Curlews fly around the farm. Within a mile is Flash Bar Stores serving breakfast, lunch, cakes and groceries.

Situated in the hamlet of Loadbrook in the beautiful Peak District National Park (yet only 15 minutes from Sheffield city centre), Loadbrook Cottage is attached to a traditional 18th century Yorkshire farmhouse. The Tack Store is a new barn conversion on our small farm outside the village of Silkstone. Views are some of the best in South Yorkshire, overlooking rolling hills and woodland, it's a perfect escape for those who love peace, quiet & walking. Equally we are only 1.5m from the M1 for guests wanting a more varied experience. We are child and pet friendly. We have tried really hard to create a relaxing home away from home. A hot tub will be installed for bookings April 25 onwards.

On the edge of the Peak District yet close to the City of Sheffield, Charlesworth’s offers the best of both worlds! Beautiful country walks and several pubs on the doorstep, or a short drive to climbing at Stanage and Bamford edges. For cyclists, Charlesworth’s is close to ‘Le Tour’ routes. Chatsworth House, Buxton, snooker at the Crucible, and the Tramlines Festival are all easily reached. Families, contractors and dogs are very welcome in this light and spacious cottage.
