Great stay! Loved the location

This was a nice place for a nights rest on our way across country. Our bed was so comfortable! Not much to do this time of year but I could see it being a lot of fun to use the hot tub and have a fire in the back yard.

We had a relaxing time staying at this wonderful place for two nights. The house has plenty of space, was well-stocked and was quite peaceful. We particularly enjoyed having coffee and breakfast on the back deck, where it seems you’re the only people in the world. The basketball court, swings and lovely sitting area by the pond were also a huge bonus in this space. There were multiple MASSIVE catfish and cute little fishies to feed and watch, which made it that much more special. Thanks for a great wonderful getaway!

My husband and I spent two nights in this cottage with two of our close friends. The location is fantastic, quiet, and very private … it is located only a couple minutes drive to the quaint town of Sullivan, but you would never know with how private as it feels ! Marissa was very helpful. Anytime I reached out, (which was several) her responses were quick and helpful every time. At one point we had a glitch with the dryer knob and she and her husband showed up promptly and took care of the problem. Everything went smoothly for the rest of the time we were there. The house is immaculate, and all of the thoughtful touches are spot on. We have stayed at several Airbnb‘s and I believe this is one of my favorites! The kitchen is very well stocked with high-quality items and we never needed anything that wasn’t available. We prepared three meals each day and had all th supplies we wouldhave used at home. It looks exactly like the pictures and everything was modern and in great condition.

It was clean smelled good I had another air bnb cancel on me at 8pm and was frantic to find somewhere Brandon responded and accepted my booking almost immediately

My stay here was great and it was just what I needed during my work contract. It’s in a quiet neighborhood which gave me an extra level of comfort. I felt right at home and the apartment looks just like the photos. The hosts were very responsive and made sure I was comfortable. Highly recommend!

This place met our needs for a family get together in Arthur. The location was perfect for us and the host was responsive and easy to reach. The house is in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street and we felt perfectly safe. The place is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We had to travel to that area from Texas for a funeral and I just thought for two days my older brother and myself needed a tranquil place to stay. This little house and its location did not disappoint. Erin came and let us in and she was lovely. The accommodations were as described and comfortable. The lake is beautiful. So I guess the final question is would I stay at the lake house again in an absolute heartbeat in fact up in that area we have a family reunion over Labor Day and I may seek those accommodations again. Gail and Bob were awesome! They communicated well with us as we traveled during the day. Their home is beautiful, clean, spacious and cozy. Convenient parking made unloading and loading simple. The bed? A-Mazing! Most comfortable we’ve slept in a long time! The jacuzzi warmed us to the bones!! We recommend The Hidden Gem to anyone traveling through Illinois.
