Located on one of the Seven Bends of the Shenandoah River, the Bird’s Nest is a brand new, custom built 800 square foot cabin featuring an open loft with king bed and skylights, steam shower, heated bathroom floor, and gas fireplace. Exterior amenities include a hot tub, gas grill, gas fire pit table, fire pit by the river, and private river access in a peaceful, wooded setting. Kayaks/tubes are available to use to float down the river with the unique ability to park/exit on the hosts’ property.

Lodge on the Lake

A quiet 17 acre, ONE room cabin set on a private small lake, fishing, swimming, and kayaking. Equipped with a full kitchen, a grill, 4 OUT DOOR showers, no showers in cabin. Sleeps 4, 1 QUEEN SIZE BED AND 1 PULL OUT HIDE-ABED. There is a $25/PP per day for extra guests , with prior approval by host. Pet friendly. Includes soaring mountain views, swimming holes, hiking trails, ATV trails, fishing creek, mini white sand beach, hot tub in a cave, huge boulder rustic fire pits, cave, lake, cabanas, all in a heavy forest exclusively for guests. Private: you cannot see another house from the front porch or back decks and it has thick woods all around. At the top of the property are soaring views with 3 miles of visibility. No need to go to the national park.

The Misty River Cottage is located on one of the seven bends of the Shenandoah River and at the base of the Massanutten Mountain. It was designed, built and furnished with the goal of being one of the nicest options in the Shenandoah Valley. With views of the river and mountains from every room. Ensuite bathrooms in each of the two bedrooms. A custom built bunk bed for larger groups. Heated floors, spectacular outdoor space and direct river access all within a short drive to Woodstock.

Country Cottage on 1700’s Quaker Farm

Sylvanside is a Williamsburg style cottage on 1740 Quaker farm. 3+ Bedrooms, w/en-suite baths, full kitchen, LR, FR, fireplace & sun porch. View the fields & pond, old barns, English garden. Interact with our Clydesdales, & pig, play in the creek & walk the 25 acres. Perfect getaway retreat for family & friends (No parties, events or filming w/o permission and contract) vineyard visits, apple picking, hiking. Base price 2 guests; $50 each add guest to allow flexibly for group sizes.

The Cottage

Need some time to refresh? Spending time in the foothills of the Skyline Drive at our cozy cottage may be for you. Well behaved dogs are welcome but not on furniture. The driveway is long and home is very secluded. Winter access will be subject to weather conditions. Driveway does not get plowed and gets rutty during rainy periods. Cell service is spotty on Browntown road. The cottage has a landline and wifi. Use your wifi calling feature for cell phone use. More info under photos.
