Lovely area close to the cute town of Harpers Ferry. Loved the Hot Tub.

Great spot for our family of six. Plenty of space for the kids and dogs to roam. After hiking the hot tub was a big hit. Easy access to SNP and caverns. River access lot was great for fishing but there was an experience with a neighbor. Be mindful of the white posts that are near the sign on the river lot for fox creek lodge. The posts don’t go all the way to the water but those posts denote separate property although there is no sign saying so. When my son was fishing three feet inside that on the rocks in the water, the very vocal neighbor came down to the road and threatened to call the cops on us and yelled pretty aggressively as he continued to walk towards us. It seemed like a strange escalation on his part when we immediately got my son on the other side of the post as soon as he yelled that it was private property. Just a note of caution, as we didn’t go down to the river after that because the guy left us feeling a little unsettled. No fault on this Airbnb at all.

I would highly recommend this property for a peaceful getaway weekend! The cabin itself is bright and beautiful and the host was incredibly responsive. Stargazing in the hot tub was absolutely the highlight!

The chalet was a perfect home base for our stay in the valley over a birthday weekend. Derek gave us clear instructions ahead of time, we had no trouble getting in. We were able to just crash and watch TV the first night in front of the electric fireplace. Second night we hit the hot tub which we needed after a long hike. We found good restaurants in Front Royal and Luray (Osteria Maria, Chop House Bistro) and for coffee in the morning Broad Porch. Check out was also easy, we just needed to strip the beds and take out the trash. And of course we loved being able to bring our doggo. My fiancee had previously been hosted by Derek and we would definitely stay here again.

Rich & Brittany have a lovely tiny house in a beautiful area! Their place is cozy, clean and has all the creature comforts, plus a nice big hot tub on a nearly wrap around deck and a big yard with a fire pit, with plenty of firewood, courtesy of R & B. If you're wanting to drive up a long and winding road in the mountains of West Virginia, to a cozy tiny house, that's "just right"? Then, Goldilocks will be much pleased! The only part of the stay that didn't get 5 stars was that it wasn't quite as secluded as I'd hoped for. There are a number of homes on the road to the cabin, and a thin line of trees breaks the view. Admittedly unless you're looking for the other houses you don't notice them, so I got past that quickly enough. That said, the cabin was perfect, clean, cozy and everything worked as stated. Having grown up in the country, but living in a city now, I felt the stress melt away as soon as I stepped into the massive yard where my son and I spent a lot of time playing soccer and other sports. My son and wife really enjoyed the hot tub. The location is 15 minutes away from Luray which meant that the stars were amazing for the brief break in the clouds we got, but that it was close enough to get groceries and take out as needed. Plus it's about 20 minutes away from Front Royal so there are places to go and enjoy like Skyline or Luray Caverns. Jackie was a great and responsive host!

Connie's Rock Cottage was amazing! much thought was put into this cottage. Firewood and fire starter for the wood stove on chilly nights, robes we used for getting to and from the private hot tub just steps outside the back door,map of entire 550 acres of land including the wonderful paved walkway which meanders through the property. This was the mosr exceptionally prepared kitchen we have seen in out travels. Tons of utensils, a full set of potsand pans, dish towels, trivets, cutting boards and cooking sheets! We love to cook together when we travel and this kitchen was big enough for 2! We got some amazing pictures all over the farm. The lack of light pollution allowed us to enjoy the stars and Pink Full Moon in all their glory! We will be back to enjoy this cottage again!

This was an awesome stay! The one thing I’d note is to be aware that when you book it’s in a wooded area. We had a run in with a harmless snake that got in the house, but were able to take care of it pretty quickly. There were also some hornets that got in the house. Just be aware that you’re in nature. Thanks Kelly!!

Had a great stay with our dogs. We loved the privacy with no neighbors in sight. There were lots of bees so it was a bit hard to enjoy sitting out on the deck but otherwise was great! Nice to be able to walk into Shenandoah right from the house.

Host was very responsive; check-in was easy and area was private and safe; about a 15-20-minute walk to most things in Cville. I appreciate the cleanliness and how responsive Erica was. Thank you! Would definitely stay again.

The cottage/house was as described and wonderful. The location was perfect to explore the many nearby hiking and outdoors options. The property itself has an excellent view. The fenced in yard was convenient for our dog. Inside everything was clean and well-maintained. There were a number of nice touches to make you feel at home. There was everything one would need and more. I needed to work remotely one day and the WiFi was very reliable. Great stay!

This rustic, cozy cabin was the perfect spot for an impromptu weekend in the mountains for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipt. It was cold outside but heating worked well! So appreciated the little conveniences provided, like dishwasher and laundry soap, paper towels & clear, easy checkout instructions. Great location in easy drive to Davis main street and skiing. Laura was a super responsive host. Would def return!

This place was our best choice even before we realized there would be a freshly-prepared, multi-course gourmet breakfast. House is as advertised, clean, and well-located. Scott and Lisa are friendly, responsive, and fantastic cooks. Enjoy!

Firnew Cottage is surrounded by a beautiful setting. My kids loved walking to the river and playing there. We all loved having Firnew’s dog Louie visit us daily. I found picturesque views everywhere while walking the grounds and trails. We were also in a great location to drive out for hikes. Thank you to Alex, David and Trish for being such friendly hosts.

Had a great stay at Hunter's place. We went with our family of four (kids 8 and 6) and some good friends, also a family of four (kids 8 and 6). The place was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space, nice kitchen, lovely living room, big bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. You feel right at home when you walk in, directions were clear, Hunter was very responsive, and Hunter and Sara provide some great local recommendations of their favorite things around town. Good value and I would definitely stay again!

Todo muy lindo la casa super hermosa! Muchas cosas que hacer cerca. Todo 100 de 100! Lo único que cambiaría no deberían de poner que en las instalaciones hay cargador tesla cuando no se puede usar. Fue en mi tesla pensado que podía cargarlo mientras estábamos el fin de semana para regresarnos y nos dijeron que en otra parte podría cargarlo.

Adam is a wonderful host. He is very responsive and accommodating. I loved that they gave a pet friendly home and that allowed us to bring our furr baby. His home is definitely a home away from home. I highly recommend and will use again in the future.

Very private location. The house was a nice cabin with spectacular views and comfortable furnishings. Very spotty Verizon cell service, but wifi worked very well for calling and internet. Would recommend for a private get-away.

I’d argue that this is one of the best places to stay in Wintergreen. The cabin itself is perfect. We are a young family and it was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is also perfect. It is very close to all the attractions on the resort. Clay was a great host as well. The perfect amount of communication; engaged without being intrusive. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be sure their trip is easy and successful!

Great place to stay!! Had everything we were looking for and location was perfect!

We were a large group of 7 adults and 1 child, and this was the perfect Airbnb for us! Another part of our group was staying with their RV at the KOA so the location was fantastic since we could very easily walk between the Airbnb and RV. It was also great to enjoy the KOA activities and spaces. You could even walk to the national park if you enjoy walking! The house is very spacious, and it was a great space for hanging out whether in the the dining room, living room, or outside. The Airbnb was very well equipped and comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you have a large group or part of you group is staying at KOA.

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were so responsive and so friendly. They were very accommodating and very understanding that we had a small child there were children’s books and the environment was so clean. I would 100% stay again and I’m so happy with the experience that we had.
