Beautiful apartment with thoughtful touches everywhere! Super helpful hosts. So lovely to enter and find a bottle of local wine and locally baked goodies. Comfy robes, plenty of towels. The location features an amazing view of the Blue Ridge. We loved sitting by the fish pond with some wine and enjoying the rolling hills.

Mary was an amazing host. Easy check in. Parking in Fredericksburg can be challenging but her instructions were very clear and we chose to park in the garage that is less than 2 blocks away. The apartment is extremely clean with old world charm. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds are extremely comfortable with ample linens. We had our 4 month old with us and Mary even set up the pack n play for us (such a nice gesture as we arrived later than planned and had a short window before bedtime). The apartment is in the heart of downtown, thus you get a little street noise in the living room, but we heard nothing in the bedrooms which are in the back of the building. Many restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Mary checked in on us several times through the Airbnb message leaving us feeling well taken care of. I would absolutely rent this place again.

What a gem! My mom, my two kiddos and myself booked one night for a spur the moment trip, and it was such a find! We loved the age, decor and vibe, it was spotless and Catherine was an exceptional hostess! That it overlooks the park is an incredible bonus! We enjoyed an walk thru the park after we arrived and there are some great funky coffee shops just down the street that made the morning run smoothly! Close proximity to everything we wanted to do in Richmond. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Just what we needed for a place to crash as we passed through on a roadtrip! We pulled in the neighborhood at 10:30 and several apartments were blaring music and having parties so a I got a little nervous, but we couldn’t hear a think once we got inside. Thanks for accommodating the last minute booking!

The place was squeaky clean, beautiful and welcoming. We had a very relaxing vacation. The hosts were incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. The location is close enough to Edgar Poe museum which we thought was really good. The location itself is ok. There is not much to do around if you are walking, but if you are looking for relaxing walks, peaceful time, this is it! Btw, downtown is 4 mins drive and museums are ~15 mins drive. All in all, very highly recommend!

This was our second time to stay at Joy’s place. It is lovely, comfortable, and convenient. The garden setting is our favorite!

Perfect Churchill Location! Churchill is an amazing walkable neighborhood in Richmond, equipped with lots of cafes and restaurants. and Jeffrey's place is a wonderful launching pad! Not to mention the location is directly across from the scenic Chimborazo Park! The space is MUCH larger than the pictures illustrate, we were so pleasantly surprised with the space. There is also a large jacuzzi tub in a tucked away corner of the apartment, which was quirky but very enjoyable! The kitchen is perfectly equipped. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a charming and private space in Churchill.

We felt very comfortable in Nichole's place. Peaceful, private location but a quick 5 min drive to town and maybe 10 mins the other direction to the trail. Bed was super comfy, plenty of extra pillows, blankets, etc. Large living spaces and plenty of seating for lounging and dining, although we didn't cook while there bc Lewisburg has a great selection of good restaurants. We would definitely stay at Nichole's place again when in Lewisburg.
