This place was a great house to stay in for a few days in Kyoto in a quiet neighbourhood not far from lots of restaurants, bars, and shops. Kohei was a great host who was very helpful and provided some recommendations for us

Our family and 3 furkids love this home very much. The house is beautiful with good amenities. We even had BBQ catered for us and we enjoyed it out on the porch! The surroundings were scenic with many parks, farm lands and snow capped mountains. The furkids had amenities provided and it was very thoughtful of the owner. There were a few very good dog friendly restaurants too! Good recommendations from the friendly owner. Overall a lovely stay if you enjoy nature and hikes.

Always nice to be one of the first to stay at a brand new Airbnb. Place was very new and clean. Location was great, and lots of rooms (4!) and space for our group. Nice to have western and tatami bed options. Really nice amenities like Dyson hairdryer and clothes steamer which was very handy. Walkable to a supermarket and food options. Only thing was a lack of hooks in the bathroom and shelves to put toiletries on but I know Tabi will add those as she was very thoughtful about the other amenities there! Would definitely stay there again if I’m in Kyoto!

The property was very clean and well maintained. Conveniently located near the train station as well. Host was very responsive to questions.

The accommodation is excellent and impresses with its central location. Numerous outstanding restaurants and many famous sights are within walking distance. From the moment you arrive, you immediately feel at home, thanks to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. A special highlight is the beautifully maintained garden, which invites you to relax and makes the stay even more enjoyable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wang's lovely home. We really felt like we got to experience a little of what life in a traditional Japanese home is like. The bathrooms were amazing and the location could not have been better. The home was walkable to many major sites and close to public transportation making it easy to tour from our home base. Coming from hotel stays in Tokyo it was nice to have room to spread out a little and we all enjoyed the ability to wash our clothes. This home was a dream come true for this family of four. Wang was helpful in giving detailed instructions for check in - it was a little difficult to find the house the first time because our taxi dropped us off at the wrong house but otherwise everything was smooth and easy.

it was a magically place to stay in Kyoto. the view of the river was outstanding, we saw fish, turtles and birds. close to the bus and train station. we had 8 people. 4 adults and 4 teenagers and we fit very well. Will be coming back!

this is a most amazing place we have ever stayed with air bnb, kitchen is equipped with all necessary cooking stuff and even various seasoning, bedrooms are superb.... Children have plenty of space inside the building and backyard for running, the space is more than enough for our 12 people group. ......... Perfect.......

La llegada fue muy fácil con las indicaciones que se me compartieron antes de la llegada. La estación de autobús 17 que sale de la estación de Kioto te deja muy cerca de la casa, hay que caminar muy poco para llegar, lo cual lo hace super accesible. Zhang siempre fue muy atento y amable conmigo, respondía muy rápido los mensajes y tuve la oportunidad de conocerlo, una persona muy respetuosa y atenta. La casa no tengo palabras para describirla, es una casa de ensueño, el jardín, el estanque, la casa por dentro, todo estuvo increíble. No tuvimos ningún inconveniente. Nosotros requeríamos esa ubicación porque fuimos a una convención y tiene una conexión muy sencilla con el tren y con los autobuses que conectan toda la ciudad. Sin dudarlo, volvería a elegir la casa para quedarme; es una zona muy tranquila y pasa un río muy cercano, lo cual lo vuelve aún más bello. Gracias Zhang por brindarnos tu lugar y por las atenciones. ☺️

The Hanna Bamboo house was outstanding. It was typical Machiya and the tatami room and outdoor garden were such a beautiful experience. The home had all the bits and pieces that we were expecting, and the location was so easy to get around Kyoto…walkable to Gion and the river, and easy train/bus to anywhere in beautiful Kyoto. Beds were comfy, esp the master bedroom. The washing machine was a great asset as we were on the road for a few weeks. Thankyou Hana.

We loved our stay at this Airbnb and we cannot wait to visit Kyoto again and stay in this exact same location. Everything was pristine and clean, and walking distance to everything and the host was amazing. 10 out of 10 for everything.

Yuan is so kind and helpful. Though there was a language barrier she went above and beyond for us by picking us up and dropping us off at our requested station!

Ishigaki Kyotofish is wonderfully located at a hipsters area in Kyoto, with womderful small shops, cafés and restaurants nearby! it is a 30-min walk to all tourist attractions at the centre of Kyoto and you can walk along the small river just beside the house! This place offered us the most authentic and zen experience in Japan since everything reflected Japanese cultures. I would definitely recommend it for groups of friends or couples since it is one of the very rare places in Kyoto to host 5 or more people. Karen has been a perfect host, always responsive, proactive and understanding! Happy to go there back again!

O local é muito bem localizado, a 3min do trem, do family mart e de templos. A casa é bem tradicional e organizada. As camas são muito confortáveis. A limpeza não estava 100%, mas não impactou a viagem.

Ce logement est confortable, bien équipé, très propre et très bien situé, dans une petite rue calme, tout en étant à proximité d’un site exceptionnel, de charmantes petites boutique de souvenirs et de toutes les commodités. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié votre séjour chez Candy et recommandons vivement son logement.
