Absolutely adorable home, in a great location in Silver City. Very nice accommodations, super comfortable, and lovely art. Definitely want to visit again for a few extra days!

This is absolutely a gem of a place. The house is so beautifully decorated. The sunrise and sunsets are beautiful. It’s comfortable, clean and so unique. Our family stayed over Easter weekend and we had everything we needed. It was close to the general store, Lake Roberts and the Gila Cliff Dwellings as well as so many beautiful hikes and hot springs. Our family spoke about making this spot our yearly meeting place. We all loved it so much.

We so enjoyed this location for our adventures in the area. Home was very clean, and well maintained. Neighborhood is quiet. Kitchen is well- equipped. Our favorite spot to spend our relaxing time was the lovely, grassy back yard , and patio. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings there, as well as dinners two of our three nights. We would definitely want to stay here again!

This place was a haven in a very hard time. Unfortunately we had to come for a funeral on a town a grew up in but hadn’t been back to in 10 years. It was peaceful, beautiful and Carmen was more than accommodating. It was everything we needed during this time and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

This private retreat was an incredible value. We could not see or hear neighbors. It was clean and had everything we required. Plenty of space for a family with three kids to spread out. The views from the large balcony of the Mimbres valley and Black Mountains were incredible morning to evening. For us, the location was as close to Albuquerque as feasible with good access to both the Gila and Silver City. High speed internet worked well. Be prepared for a steep gravel driveway and final 1/4 mile of street… as Anna indicated…. but nothing unmanageable by taking it slow. While we stayed here on near 90 degree days, the lack of AC didn’t bother us as we were out during the days and it cools off so quickly in the evenings (house is on east face of a steep hill). The house also has large overhangs on most windows keeping midday summer sun and rain out. While the lot is large and private and fenced, it was quite steep terrain so young children need supervision.

What a great space. Open, spacious, and clean. The kitchen is amazing and so well stocked. We ate all our meals there. It’s in an incredible natural setting; it was so nice to sit outside and gaze at the stars. Amanda was super responsive and helpful, quickly addressing the small extra needs that we had. I would highly recommend Amanda’s place

Bernie and Tonmette were amazing hosts. They knew we were traveling for a funeral, and left us a very heartfelt note.
