Wir waren fast 14 Tage in Davids Haus. Wir waren als fast 80-jährige Mieter von Davids Unterstützung in allen Fragen begeistert. Auch für unser Chico-Hund war toll gesorgt. Wenn wir nochmals in die Gegend kommen würden würden wirwieder Davids Haus buchen ! Ein absolutes Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The cottage was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities you could need. There are a bunch of fun bars and restaurants to explore in the area. There’s public transport available nearby, but all the main attractions are also in walking distance. We felt comfortable and safe walking around at night as the streets are well lit and there are always people out. Karen and her co-hosts were very helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay there again!

we really enjoyed our time in Colares as a family with two young kids. the house is perfectly located with stunning views of the ocean and several restaurants and shops nearby. Would always return-highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment with all amenities needed. Nice courtyard and outside space to enjoy the sun. It was too cold for the pool but it looked amazing. A view down to Lisbon and a great hike just behind the house . We had very friendly neighbors too. Definitely recommend for someone who looks for privacy and quiet

Charming and peaceful.Elio was very friendly and helpful to us and spoke very good English which helped since we do not have much Portuguese. The cottage was lovely and the surrounding countryside stunning. We enjoyed the pool and also the little plunge pool just outside our front door.

Petite maison atypique, avec tout le nécessaire disponible. Piscine chauffée plus qu'agréable avec ce beau temps. Espace extérieur ombragé cependant un peu bruyant ( aboiements chiens). Nous avons eu un bon accueil c était impeccable. Plage et Lisbonne à une vingtaine de minutes.

Obwohl wir zu früh wie vereinbart angereist waren, waren Virginia und Ihr Mann schon vor Ort und haben uns in die Gegebenheiten Ihrer Hazienda eingewiesen. Ein Willkommensgruß mit Käse und Brot und Wein - das war einfach fein. Der Pool wurde noch kurz gereinigt, und ein Rundgang hat dann alles notwendige erläutert. Wer Ruhe sucht und Abschalten vom Alltag, der ist dort gut bedient. Die Beleuchtung bei Nacht ist dann noch das besondere Highlight.

We zijn een maand in het huis van Margarida geweest en hebben het goed gehad! Er waren vanuit het huis leuke weggetjes te ontdekken om te wandelen en de omgeving biedt sowieso een heleboel moois! Je bent zo in Sintra, Ericeira, Colares, Lissabon… we waren ook bij het Middeleeuws festival in Obidos. Met de auto kom je op de meest fantastische plekken; kastelen, tuinen, kloosters, en de adembenemende kust. Het huis zelf was sfeervol en we hebben genoten van de LP’s, de mooie boeken en de dieren! Jane, de hond, was erg lief. Het varken en de schapen kregen met regelmaat ons oude brood en de restjes. Onze jongens baalden dat de wifi de slaapkamers niet bereikten, maar voor ons alleen maar pluspunten. Margarida was de ideale gastvrouw. Lief en betrokken. Dank 🙏

What a fantastic place. Spotless and felt very much like home. Weather wasn’t great but sure that’s out of everyone’s control. I would suggest having a car only because the microclimate meant you need to go over the mountain to find the sun!!🤪

Lovely house in a lovely, peaceful location. Very clean. Perfect location for day trips to Magoito beach, Sintra and Lisbon. A car is recommended to get around, but we managed without and just used Uber and public transport. There is a bus to Magoito beach (7 mins) and Portela de Sintra (35 mins) + 10 mins walk to the bus stop in the village. The host was very responsive and extremely helpful when one of our group suffered a minor injury at the beach and had to go to hospital. There is a little Spar in the village which is pretty well stocked. There are also some nice and authentic restaurants (I had a lovely ‘dourada’ at ‘Cantinho da Jo’) and cafes (we liked cafe Lucio). I would recommend staying at Cristina’s house. It was perfect for our family get-together.

Filipe is an amazing host! Caring, kind, responsive and with a huge dose of great sense of humor 😉 The house itself is magical and has a soul. You feel welcome from the very first step into the property. Filipe’s attention to every detail makes staying in his place like an adventure of discovering treasures… starting from beautiful little cups for your coffee to colorful flower pots outside. The location is perfect and combines the tranquility with an easy access to local attractions like Sintra. Can’t wait to be back there to enjoy a bit longer the wonderful and well organized outdoor spaces. Even neighbors fit this perfect place - they are lovely 😊

Leonor and Paolo are excellent hosts who went out of their way to make our trip special! Stunning historical property put together with so much care! Leonor and Paolo gave us lots of local recommendations which were amazing and all worth going to. We would highly recommend this place - we felt we were so well taken care of. Fridge had a bottle of wine and pantry stocked up! The property has a beautiful private garden where it was great to unwind at the end of day. This is an excellent spot to explore the region for beautiful beaches and hike. We would love to come back again — definitely one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had!

What a beautiful place. We stayed for two weeks and loved it! Sleeping with the sound of the waves, walking out the door right onto the beach :)

la casa esta en una zona genial para poder conocer todo el entorno de cascáis , mucho ambiente de tiendas y restaurantes, el mercado de cascais no ha gustado bastante, por lo general la casa esta muy bien a nosotros nos ha gustado y por la noche dormimos genial

Beautiful holiday home that was cosy and charming. We felt right at home with our family for our long term stay. We had everything we needed and the house is well equipped. Everything was comfortable and we loved sitting by the fire or watching the sunset from the deck. Alexandra was an amazing host, quick to respond and solve any problems that arose. You are able to walk to restaurants, supermarket and for coffee. A short drive to great beaches and Ericeira. We recommend Alexandra’s home.

Adoramos! Vista magnifica e casa muito bem equipada. A simpatia e disponibilidade para tudo o que precisamos. Os hosts Mónica e Paulo são incansáveis para nos proporcionar a melhor experiência possível. Os miúdos andavam sempre entretidos. Desde as brincadeiras na piscina e Jardim ou no campo de jogos mais ao fim da tarde! Nós aproveitámos o churrasco todos os dias, que fica mesmo em frente à piscina e podemos estar todos juntos. Esperamos regressar.

Nous avons passé une semaine chez Alexandra, c’est leur maison de vacances tres bien équipée (vaisselle, jeux, ping pong, babyfoot). Assez proche d’Ericeira mais il vaut mieux avoir une voiture. Juste au dessus d’une plage merveilleuse avec un super spot de surf. Alexandra est tres disponible et tres bonne communiquante. Ses recommandations sont supers!

We had been Staying for a week and found a very lovely welcome home. The reality is better than pictures. We appreciated the tips and nice recommadations. A nice location with possibilty to go to beach stay at house or go to lissabon!!

We found a hidden gem in nature within a 40 minute drive to Lisbon! There is tons to see within a 15 minute to 1.5 hour in various directions. The remote home was very private, serene, with beautiful décor, with modern amenities and rustic charm. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals, and the cozy living spaces invited us to relax and unwind after a day of exploration. The garden, game room and pool add a bonus flare especially for families. The Wifi was fast for remote working. The host Joana and her husband's warm hospitality and local insights made our stay unforgettable.

Francisca for me really is a superhost. From the beginning until we left she was always there for us with helpful information concerning the house oder things you can do around in this Area. A big big thank you for letting us live in your home. We enjoyed really a lot . The house which is a littler bit older but has lots of charme has two bigger sleeping rooms and one smaller children room, so it is perfect for a family with two to four or even five children( there is even a baby bed ) . The house has a nice atmosphere and the garden ist perfect to play badminton or other games . The Area is perfect if you like to play golf, because the courses are in walking distance . For all the other things you need a car . A small super market is two minutes away with the car . The beaches of Fonta de Telha oder Costa da Caparica you reach in 10 Minutes with the car, to Lisbon you need about twenty minutes, if there’s a normal traffic, so for us this was strategically the best place to start our activities . We would come back anytime to have our holidays here again . Thomas Schneider

Hemos pasado unos días estupendos y disfrutando en la bonita casa de Luís. Tiene todas las comodidades (es como si estuvieras en tu propia casa), es espaciosa limpia y dispone de un lindo y gran jardín con una piscina estupenda. La urbanización está muy bien con un fantástico campo de golf y bien ubicada a 20 a 30 min de Setúbal, Lisboa y de las playas mejores de la zona. Luís es una persona estupenda, amable y simpático, Nos recibió a nuestra llegada y ha estado pendiente de todo durante toda nuestra estancia, ayudándonos y recomendándonos sitios para visitar, restaurantes, etc. No se puede ser mejor anfitrión y persona, y es para mí un amigo. Lo hemos pasado fenomenal, es perfecto y recomendable. Muchas gracias Luís por todo

Monica is an incredibly helpful host! She was so accommodating and even when things on the listing were missing (hairdryer and iron) she brought them immediately. The location was a bit further from Vila Franca than we initially thought (still only 10 minutes) but the property was very nice and private. Would recommend and would stay again! Thank you Monica :)

Our family had a wonderful time at Goncalo's home in Colares. The home was even nice than the photos and the hosts were very accommodating and lovely to communicate with. We had a great time and hope to return!
