Where to begin? John and Kedzie greeted us as soon as we pulled into the drive in with a warm welcome. From there , things just got better. This is one of those places where when people say they will be back, they mean it. The pictures don't do it justice. Waking up every morning to the ocean breeze, the view that could sell postcards, and the sun rising over the horizon made us happy that we decided to book here. Everything was perfect. We stayed for a week and there were many times that we would interact with John and Kedzie and every time was just great. They gave great reccomendations on what beaches to go to, where to eat, etc etc, This is the place to stay when you on the island and We will be back. The one thing that I will second in the the reviews here is to make sure that you have a good SUV or Jeep or something with 4 wheel drive cause you will go into the mountains for it and the driveway is steep. Your rented Honda Civic isn't gonna make it. WE WILL BE BACK!!

We had an absolute blast. The place is absolutely wonderful. It is very peaceful. You feel as though you have everything you need,my fiancé is a chef and thought that the kitchen was immaculate and has everything you need to make almost any meal, this is our second time there and it was just as great as the first, the road is a little rough, but what road in Saint Croix isn’t, not to mention it has such a beautiful and scenic view, we are so grateful to have spent another time there we will for sure recommend this stay to anyone that is looking for the perfect vacation or getaway :)

Had a wonderful time getting to know St. Croix, and Adolf and Sharon made us feel right at home. Great recommendations on places to go and things to do. Too much to fit in one trip and we will definitely be visiting both the island and the Tropical Cottage again!!

We would recommend this beautiful condo to those looking for a place to stay. We loved having 2 king sized beds with on suite bathrooms. Plenty of space for a family of 6-8. The grounds are very well kept. Beautiful view of the ocean from the walk out lanai's. You won't be disappointed. Book now

Shawn's place is a wonderful piece of paradise. The location is perfect and so close to all the fun. The pool and hot tub are lovely. We are glad to hear the restaurant is reopening soon. The condo is exactly as described and kept very clean. The views from the balcony are just heavenly. It was the perfect spot. Shawn is very responsive and a great host. We highly recommend and cannot wait to return. We liked it so much that we are dreaming of owning our own slice of this resort. The pictures are so accurate but must be experienced in person to truly appreciate.

Overall the place was clean and in a nice location. It was next to the beach and also had a pool. There was some miscommunication with AirBnb for check-in but Richard was able to remedy right away.

Everything was just as described. But the views — Just incredible. Didn’t want to leave. Easy to get to most of the island. Quiet and safe area. Caryn was easily reached when we had a question. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much for sharing your place 😊

An amazing spot to stay; looked just like the photos, and a nice beach area with not a lot of other people or crowds. The pool and spa area were nice too. The nearby restaurant/bar at the condo complex was no longer in business, which was a bummer. Other than that though, a really really great spot to stay. Would recommend to others. This unit was the best view in the condo complex as far as I could tell.

The house is in an excellent location near to Christiansted. You can sit and watch the waves all day and night. The pool is refreshing and relatively shallow if you are traveling with littles or poor swimmers. The host is super nice and responsive. We needed a few things and the host immediately responded and got them for us and was very kind. You get the entire downstairs apartment to yourself, which is nice. It's not exceptionally fancy, but it is nice. What to know: The beach is a walk away, but it's not a swimmers beach. There are sea urchins and rocks in the water. However, it's a great beach for exploring tide pools, watching hermit crabs, finding sea glass, and relaxing while watching the waves. Bring water shoes! You probably want to rent a car if you want to go into town and/or around the island. Get four wheel drive so you can travel to the rainforest and feed the pigs a beer. Go snorkeling at Buck Island; swim at the Buccaneer, Hotel on the Cay, and/or Rainbow Beach.
